RE: DEMAND TO CEASE AND DESIST FROM SENDING COMMUNICATION TO MR. JOSE MAURICIO BEREDO
WHICH ARE THREATENING, COERCIVE, INTIMIDATING, DEFAMATORY, BASELESS AND HARASSING
Dear Mr. Vito and Ms. Ignacio:
This Letter of Demand To Cease and Desist formally informs you that your persistent THREATENING,
COERCIVE, INTIMIDATING, LIBELOUS and HARASSING MESSAGES AND CALLS to Mr. Jose Mauricio A.
Beredo are unbearable, causing substantial damages to his personal and emotional well-being.
You have absolutely no legal basis whatsoever to commit threats, coercions, defamatory
communication, and other forms of harassment against Mr. Beredo. You are therefore demanded to STOP
SENDING SUCH COMUNICATIONS IMMEDIATELY as they are being done in violation of law.
Mr. Beredo has the right to remain free from your unwarranted behavior. And Mr. Beredo shall
pursue appropriate legal remedies available to him against you if your illegal acts continue. These remedies
include but are not limited to: contacting law enforcement to conduct criminal investigation against you;
and eventually sue you criminally and civilly for the damages he incurred as a result of your actions.
Again, you must IMMEDIATELY STOP communicating to Mr. Beredo and send to his undersigned
counsel a written confirmation that you will stop such activities. You risk incurring some very severe legal
consequences if you fail to comply with this demand.
This letter acts as your final warning to discontinue this unwanted conduct before Mr. Beredo
pursues legal actions against you. At this time, Mr. Beredo has not yet contacted the authorities to conduct
any criminal investigation against you. Neither has he filed yet a criminal and/or civil suit against you.
This letter of demand is a final attempt and hope that this matter may be resolved without
government or state authoritative involvement. Mr. Beredo however, is not under any circumstances,
waiving any legal right or cause of action that he presently has in his favor. He likewise, by this attempt to
straighten things out, does not waive future legal remedies against you by sending you this letter. This
order acts as a FINAL CHANCE for you to cease your illegal activities before Mr. Beredo exercises his rights.
To ensure compliance with this letter, and to halt any legal action Mr. Beredo will take against you,
you are advised to send a written reply stating and confirming your intention and act of ceasing and
desisting from further committing the above-mentioned unwarranted communications to Mr. Beredo.
Failure to do so will act as further evidence of your infringement upon Mr. Beredo’s legal rights; and he
will immediately undertake all appropriate legal actions in order to protect his rights and interests.
To make this letter clear to you and to sum-up the purposes of this CEASE AND DESIST DEMAND
LETTER, Mr. Beredo demands that you immediately discontinue and do not at any point in the future under
any circumstances do the following to him: speak to, contact, pursue, harass, attack, strike, bump into,
brush up against, push, tap, grab, hold, threaten, telephone (via cellular or landline), instant message,
page, fax, email, follow, stalk, shadow, disturb his peace, keep him under surveillance, gather information
about and/or block his movements at home or at work, social gatherings or civic or religious functions.
We trust that you understand everything stated here. And that you promptly comply to this demand
for the sake of everyone concerned.
