Command Guide
SBTV runs ​AOLS2​, and as such, works a little different compared to other AO servers. Listed here are
the details of commands included in the server.

Essentials

/help  An in-game list of all commands.

/help (command)  Opens a command’s specific page.

/motd  Repeats the welcome message.

/rules  Shows the rules.

/files  Shows our server’s document.

/area  Shows a list of all the rooms.

/area (id)  Join the room with the specified id.

/getarea (id)  Shows a list of players in the same room as you.

/getareas  Shows an overview of all rooms.

/getplayers  Shows an overview of all players.

/whois (id)  Shows the information of yourself.

Communication

/pm (id) (msg)  Sends a private message to a user.

/g (msg)  Sends a global message, visible to everyone.

Room Management

/cr (name)  Changes the background to a court.

/crlist  The list of courtrooms the server supports.

/bd (name)  Changes the background to a backdrop.

/bdlist  The list of backdrops the server supports.

/doc  Gets the room’s current document.

/doc (link)  Sets the room’s document to the specified link.

/status (name)  Sets the room’s status

/lock (pass)  Locks your courtroom with a password.

/key (pass)  Sets your key, you can enter any room that uses the same password.

/rename (name)  Renames your current room.

Character Management

/pos (spot)  Changes the position of your character.

Available spots: ​def, pro, jud, wit, hld, hlp, jur 

/desk (state)  0 makes your desk invisible. 1 forces desks to appear. Use none to go back to
default.

/zoom  Toggles speedlines for your character.

/char (name)  Selects a character via string.

/charlist  The list of valid characters the server supports.

/randomchar  Chooses a character at random for you.

/rejoin  Joins you as your ghost user if they exist.

/userpair (id)  Pairs you with another user.

/autopair  Toggles autopair mode, it pairs you with people also in autopair.

Miscellaneous Tools

/steno  Toggles Steno mode. Makes messages easier to copy/read.

/coinflip  Flips a coin. You will get a Heads or a Tails.

/diceroll (n)  Rolls a 6-sided dice. (n) is how many sides to roll with.

/timer  Starts a stopwatch, use again to finish timing.

/timer (minutes)  Runs an automatic timer.
