COPILCO RESIDENCES

Academic project 4º Semester Spring 2013

The idea for this project comes from the analysis of the zone, which
is near the UNAM University in Mexico City.

The project has mixed land uses and consists of building a student
residence with workshops for the students, integrating the comer-
cers of the zone.
Next to the student residence we also propose a building with
appartments for the people that works in the zone.

This project consists in creating a linear park which can connect


some public spaces with important buildings through an important
street named Chapultepec Avenue.

FOI ET JOIE OFFICES AND RESIDENCE
HAITÍ, PORT-AU PRINCE

This project is an architectonic proposal for


the offices and residences of an organization
named Foi et Joie located in Port-au Prince
Haiti.

The instalations have offices, kitchen, dinning


room, classrooms for a technique school and
bedrooms for volunteers that go for some
time to work there.

The idea was to create a new project for the


actual instalations wich can function better
according to their needs and resources.

VALLE DE BRAVO, MEXICO


This project is a 50m2 house of two levels, the
idea was to create my dream house respecting
those dimensions.
So I designed a house with a small workshop to
be able to make there my favorite hobbies, such
as reading, painting and architectonic projects.

MIGRANTS RESIDENCE

TULTITLAN
This project is the proposal of a migrants
residence located in Tultitlan, MEXICO
It is a residence of short term stay for the
migrants that arrive to mexico from the
famous train called La Bestia
The architectonic program was defined by
the caracteristics of other migrants resi-
dences already built in the country.

EJE CENTRAL 91 MEXICO CITY

This project is a 24th level building located in an important


avenue named Eje Central in Mexico City which is near down-
town.
The building has public spaces on the ground level, it has a
public square, a restautant and a car museum.
The museum has an important realtion with the area, because
in this neighboardhood there are a lot of mechancial works-
hops and the people living in this zone has an important car
culture.
On the upper levels there are two appartment towers with
appartments between 60 and 80sqm.

THE CONCEPT FOR THIS BULDING WAS TO CREATE A VOLUME DIVIDED IN TWO WHICH IS BOUND BY A VOID IN THE MIDDLE
AND THESE TWO VOLUMS ARE PLACED ON A VERY LIGHT GLASS BASSEMENT.
