We are dealing with a number of cases at the moment where students have posted inappropriate videos or pictures on social media whilst wearing school uniform. Parents will be contacted this week where we have evidence of students committing an offence. This damages the reputation of The Westminster School and therefore affects all students who attend our school. These posts are against school rules and students will be punished if they damage our reputation in such a way. Students may not realise that such posts can also be against the law in the UAE and they could face Prosecution. Please remind your children that they must not post videos or images of students in school uniform or of the school buildings and that we do take such offences seriously. Please also check your child’s social media accounts and have such posts removed before we have to deal with them, | thank you for your support in this matter and for helping us keep your children safe.
