Sector-2, Rohini Sector-7, New Delhi-110085,
Hereinafter together called the “First Trustees” (which expression shall unless excluded by or
repugnant to the context, be deemed to include their executors, administrators and representatives).
WHEREAS the above mentioned Settler is desirous of creating an endowment by setting apart and
establishing a fund for Religious & Charitable objects and purposes, in India, as hereinafter expressed;
AND WHEREAS the Trustees have, at the request of the Settler, agreed to act as the First Trustees of
these presents as testified by their having partner to and executing these presents;
AND WHEREAS with the said objective in view, the First Trustees have decided to create a Trust and
to endow the said trust with an amount of Rs. 3000.00 (Three thousand only);
AND WHEREAS it is necessary to declare the objects and terms of the public religious, charitable
trust, being constituted under these presents.
I. TRUST FUND
That in order to effectuate his/her aforesaid desire, the Settler has set apart and handed over to the
trustees, a sum of Rs. 3000.00 ( Three thousand only) hereinafter called the ‘Trust Fund’ which
expression shall include cash and any other property or investment of any kind whatsoever into which
the same or any part thereof might be converted, invested or varied from time to time or which may be
acquired by the Trustees or may come to their hands by virtue of these presents or by operation of law
or otherwise whatsoever in relation to these presents), and the trustees shall hold and stand possessed of
the same upon the trust, subject to the powers, provisions, agreements and declarations hereinafter
contained.
II. NAME

The name of the Trust shall be of “GOSPEL ASSEMBLY OF LIFE CHURCH” hereinafter
referred to as “the Trust”
The registered office of the Trust will be situated at such a place as the Trustees may decide. The
Trustees may open branches or local offices at different places within the area of operation. At present,
the registered office of the Trust will be situated at the following address;
The said office may be shifted to such other place or places, as the trustees shall think it proper from
time to time. It may open and close any branch office or offices at any other place or places as it may
decide from time to time.
IV. BENEFICIARIES
The benefits of the Trust shall be open to all persons irrespective of caste, creed, race, sex or religion,
nationality in words and deeds.
(1) To perform all such acts as may be necessary for the achievement and accomplishment of the
following aims and objects and religious and allied social activities and services irrespective of sex,
caste, creed, nationality, religion etc.
(1) To establish/ start & run training programs for spiritual and educational purposes. Construct & run
Bible Schools / Bible Colleges/ schools/educational centers/computer literacy and other multipurpose
centers or other skill set training centers, hostels, orphanages, education & Literacy programs, old age
homes, relief and rehabilitation centers, health care centers for all categories, age groups, genders,
religions or faiths.
(2) Provide spiritual healing and counseling according to Bible to needy from any background and
faiths. To open Spiritual Counseling Centers or Telephone Counseling Centers or Internet sites directly
or through the affiliated Churches.
(3) Work with like-minded organizations. Receive help and also help other like-minded organizations
and Churches to meet the holistic needs of the people.
(4) To arrange conferences, leadership meetings, retreats and seminars for the Gospel / Church workers
and others, special revival meetings in their churches/ satsang/ Spiritual retreat centers.
(5) To construct & run multipurpose training centers, conference and meeting halls, guest houses, office
and church buildings, discipleship centers, Bible Training Centers, let residential accommodation on
either free of cost basis or on rental / lease basis and to educate, train and assist financially or otherwise
for the educational or spiritual training of teachers, social workers, staff, student, trainees, working men
and women, aged, needy, orphans, and other personal for the aims and purpose of the Trust.
(6) To start and run Churches for spiritual empowerment of people of all faith and also to support the
priests/pastors and preachers. Facilitate disciples to follow the commandments of Lord Jesus Christ/
Holy Scriptures and to propagate the values of truth, peace and love amongst all communities.
(7) To train Church believers, disciples, church workers, evangelists, pastors as leaders & ordain
Priests/ Pastors/ Elders and give licenses so that they can conduct Holy Communions, Baptisms,
solemnize marriages, burials and other church rituals. Trust will authorize / ordain / certify the trained
leaders as priests/ Pastors, elders who have received the training and in whom the Trust finds character
and spiritual standards befitting the Church leaders and recognize them so that they can contribute to
the Church according to the Holy Bible.
(8) To publish printed books and magazines and other literature based on Bible in various languages for
the fulfillment of aims and objects of the Trust.
(9) To receive contributions, donations, grants, for the fulfillment of aims and objects of the Trust.
(10) To purchase/acquire land from the DDA or other government authorities at various places in India
for the construction of buildings for the Trust and other institutions / establishments of the Trust.
(11) To establish indigenous and independent and have / enter into affiliation with Churches in all the
parts of India; Trustees are empowered to give name to Churches and projects as and when needed.
(12) To help the victims of disasters in their time of need and other relief and rehabilitation programs
as and when required
(13) To produce or help in production of Television or radio programs / Computer related programs /
through films which help in propagation of Message of Love, Truth, Compassion of God from Holy
Bible/scriptures in furtherance of aims and objects of this Trust to the people using these mass media.
(14) To own/operate/run/ rent TV/radio stations to telecast or broadcast programs for teaching and
preaching the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ and prayer for the progress of the nation, peace and harmony
in the nation, and prays for the needy people.
(15) To promote, subscribe to assist or amalgamate with or carry on the activities of any other trust,
society, association, organization, whether incorporated or not, having objects similar to the objects of
the Trust.
(16) To buy, own, receive as gift, obtain on lease or manage the moveable properties required for the
spread of the Gospel and the Church purposes and for furtherance of the aims and objects of the Trust
(17) For furtherance of the aims and objects of the Trust, to acquire by purchase, lease, gift, grants,
legacy, bequest, exchange, immovable properties viz. lands, buildings from any person, company,
association, trust /society, Central / State Government, any other authority or institution. To hold /
manage all such immovable properties viz. lands, buildings held in the name of this Trust.
(18) To have the properties mutated, registered or recorded in any Court or office (Civil, Criminal,
Municipal, corporation, collector of land, Revenue, Estate etc.) in the name of this Trust.
(19) To sell, to let or hire, improve, manage, develop, buy, construct, build upon, make alterations to or
make improvements, exchange, lease, mortgage, dispose of, turn to account or otherwise deal with all
or any part of the property and rights of the Trust.
(20) To draw, make, accept, discount, endorse, negotiate, sell, execute, and issue bills of exchange,
promissory notes, cheques, warrant, debentures, obtain loans and other negotiable or transferable
instruments or securities.
(21) To pay for any rights or property acquired by the Trust and to remunerate any person, firm or
anybody, corporate rendering service to the Trust and also to pay wages, salaries, and other sums to any
person in recognition of services rendered to the Trust including Trustees if needed.
(22) To subscribe, give donations/ grant and to financially or otherwise aid any other society or trust
which are having similar objects.
(23) All the income, receipts, funds, earning, movable & immovable properties of the Trust shall be
solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aim and objects only set forth in the Trust Deed
and no profit there of shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends bonus
profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present and past member of the Trust or to any person
claiming through any or more of the present or past members. No member of Trustee shall have any
personal claim on any moveable or immovable properties of the Trust or make any profit, whatsoever
by virtue of his membership.
(24) To profess, practice and propagate the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ and strengthen the bonds of
Love charity among the people as embodied in the Holy Scripture.
(25) To perform all such acts including collaboration and partnerships as may be necessary for the
achievement and accomplishment of the above mentioned aims and objects of the Trust and allied Trust
activities and services.
(26) To open centers and local branches in any part of the Union of India for carrying out the aims and
objects of the Trust. All activities will be carried out according to the existing government rules, Act
from Income Tax, FCRA or any other government rules in force.
(27) To do and engage in all other lawful social, moral, spiritual, educational, vocational, economical,
Training & Development, art, cultural, charitable , environmental, relief, rehabilitation, Health &
medical activities, any other social & charitable in nature activities through Board resolutions which are
incidental to or conductive to the attainment of the above aims and objects and welfare of all kinds of
people.
(1) The First Board of Trustees of of “GOSPEL ASSEMBLY OF LIFE CHURCH” is;
(2) The management and control of the Trust and the Trust properties shall vest in the Board of
Trustees which shall comprise of not less than 3 (Three) and not more than 11 (eleven) Trustees
including the Chairperson/Chairman, the Secretary, and the Treasurer. All the declarants herein will be
the First & Founding Trustees. The Board of Trustees shall determine the strength of the Board from
time to time.
(3) The tenure of the Board of Trustees shall be for the period of 3 (three) years and after that they shall
be eligible for reappointment and may offer themselves as such for every subsequent term of three
years.
(1) The first Trustees can co-opt one or more persons as Trustees into the Trust Board for the period of
three years. They will be eligible for reappointment if the Trustees approves.
(2) After the completion of the 3 terms, the Trustees shall be eligible for permanent Trustees if the Board
approves it.
(3) Trustee may resign his/ her office as Trustee by giving notice in writing to his/her Co-Trustees.
(4) On any vacancy occurring in the Board of Trustees by death or by any resignation of a Trustee or
any other cause, it shall be competent and lawful for the Trustees to appoint any competent person to be
Trustee in the place of the person who had ceased to be Trustee. (The word 'competent person' means
any person who has faith and loyalty to the overall vision and specific objects of the Trust).
(5) Filling in of vacancies, co-opting of new members, and reappointment shall be by a decision of the
Board of Trustees. As far as possible, effort shall be made to fill in the vacancies by unanimous
decisions, failing which the majority decision shall prevail.
(2) The Chief functionary shall be entitled to attend and participate in all meetings of the Board of
Trustees although he/ she will carry no voting rights with regard to the decisions of the Board of Trustees.
(3) The Board of Trustees may delegate to the chief functionary powers to employ any person or
persons to do any technical, secretarial, legal, accountancy or other work, which they may consider
necessary or expedient in connection with the management of the Trust or the funds thereof and to pay
therefore in addition to all other proper disbursement, all ordinary or reasonable charges out of the fund
or funds of the Trust.
(4) The Board of Trustees may delegate to the chief functionary powers to hire and employ all classes
of persons considered necessary for the purposes of the Trust and to pay them, and to any other persons
in return for services rendered to the Trust, any remunerations, salaries, wages, allowances, gratuities,
and provident fund etc as applicable.
(5) She/ He shall be the authorized signatory on behalf of Trust.
(b). The Trustees may nominate one or more persons either by name or otherwise to be in custody of
any of the assets of the Trust for maintenance.
(2) All acts in carrying out these presents done and carried out by a majority of the total number of
Trustees for the time being, shall be valid and effectual as if such acts had been done by all the
Trustees.
(3) Should there be any difference of opinion at any time among the Trustees in the execution of this
Trust; the opinion of the majority of the total number of Trustees for the time being shall prevail. In the
event of a tie, the Chairman/Chairperson shall have a casting vote (in addition to his/her vote).
(4) It shall be lawful for the Trustees to take any decision, resolve or decide by circular (whether
written by hand, or printed, or in electronic form), and such resolution or decision shall be as effective
as a resolution passed at a meeting of the Trustees.
(5) All meetings of Trustees and all resolutions to be decided by circular or otherwise shall be called
for by the Chairman/ Chairperson issued under his/her hand or by such other Trustee appointed for this
purpose.
(6) The Trustees may from time to time frame rules for the conduct and regulations of the meetings of
the trustees. In the absence of such regulations: -
a) Simple majority of the Trustees shall form a quorum for a meeting of the Trustees.
b) All matters will be decided mutually by the Trustees present at such meetings.
c) The trustees shall meet at least one time in a year and that shall also constitute as the Annual
Trustees meeting.
(7) To make, vary, alter or modify schemes, rules and regulations for carrying out the objects of the
Trust and for the management of the affairs thereof and/or running any institution in furtherance of the
objects of the Trust and otherwise for giving effect to the objects of the Trust.
(8) The Trustees shall be entitled to amend, alter and rescind any clauses of this Trust Deed to remove
any difficulty that may arise for the proper conduct of its activities and to bring about any improvement,
to achieve the aims and objects of the Trust. However, no such amendment shall be made while it may
prove to be repugnant to the provisions of Section 2(15), 11, 12 and 13 and 80-G of the Income-Tax Act,
1961 amended from time to time.
(9) The Board of Trustees may appoint Committees, and Sub-Committees from amongst them or other
persons with experience in the relevant fields, with or without remuneration and on such terms and
conditions as they may think proper to function under the authority and control of the Trustees for
carrying out the objects of the Trust. The Trustees may delegate such powers to advise and manage the
functioning of specific projects or groups of projects commensurate with the objectives of the Trust and
invest them with all such powers including power to incur all such expenditures as may be necessary
for carrying out the objects of the Trust.
(10) No portion of the income and property of the Trust shall be paid or transferred, directly or
indirectly, by way of dividends, bonus or otherwise, or however by way of profits to any
person/persons, who at any time are, or have been Trustees or to any of them or to any person claiming
through them, or any of them provided that nothing herein contained shall prevent the payment in good
faith of a reasonable remuneration to any Trustee or any person in return for any service rendered to the
Trust as may be decided by the Board of Trustees.
(11) If Trustees hereby constituted or any of them, or Trustees appointed as provided in this Deed shall
die or become bankrupt, insolvent or mentally incapacitated, such Trustee shall cease to be a Trustee of
this Trust, and shall cease to exercise any powers recited in this deed.
(2) The role of Chairman/ Chairperson is to represent the Board of Trustees, to call and preside over all
meetings, and in the event of vacancy to appoint acting officers till the time an election can be held
(3) The role of Secretary is to keep all accurate minutes of Trust Board meetings, to ensure safe-
keeping of important Trust documents, and to coordinate and communicate with the rest of the Board of
Trustee details of meetings called by the Chairman/ Chairperson. The Secretary shall assume the duties
of the Chairman/ Chairperson in his/her absence, when authorized by the Chairman/Chairperson or in
the case of resignation/removal from office of the Chairman/Chairperson (until such time new elections
can be held).
(4) The role of Treasurer is to ensure clear and accurate accounts of all money received and spent by
the Trust, to ensure the timely auditing of those accounts, and if necessary to disburse funds as directed
by the Board of Trustees.
(2) To appoint constituted attorneys or agents and to delegate to such attorneys or agents all or any of
the powers vested on them under these presents and from time to time remove such attorneys or agents
and to appoint other or others in his or their place.
(3) To appoint or make provision for the appointment of any person (including all or any of the
Trustees, committees, chief functionary, administrator or otherwise) for the purpose of the
administration of the Trust in such manner and subject to such rules and regulations as the Trustees may
prescribe and also to appoint or provide for the appointment of separate Trustees to hold any fund or
investment subject to the provisions of this Deed in such manner and subject to such rules and
regulations as the Trustees may from time to time think fit.
(4) To pay reasonable annual sums or premiums for or towards the provision of pensions for officers or
services for the time being of the Trust or their dependents.
(5) To insure and arrange insurance cover for and to indemnify its officers, servants, and voluntary
workers and those of its members from and against all such risks incurred in the course of the
performance of their duties as may be thought fit.
(2) The Trustees shall cause to be maintained proper books of accounts, of the Trust as required by the
Act including separate set of books in respect of businesses carried out and shall have the accounts
audited by a duly qualified Chartered Accountant annually to be appointed by the Trustees at a
remuneration to be fixed by the Trustees.
(3) To prepare a Receipt & Payments, Income and Expenditure Accounts & Balance sheet/ Financial
reports of the activities and projects run by the Trust at different places and of different institutions
separately and those accounts shall be incorporated in the accounts of the Trust.
(4) To open and maintain Bank Accounts in the name of the Trust & its projects as decided by the
Trustees, and to close the same. Operation of the Bank Account may be delegated by the Board of
Trustees to such of the Trustees or Officers of the Trust or any authorized signatories as the Board

deems fit subject to the conditions and restrictions to be imposed by the Board from time to time. Any
two authorized signatories will jointly operate the bank accounts. Additional signatories may be added
as and when required.
(5) The Trustees shall have the authority to deposit the fixed deposits, Recurring deposits, securities or
investments of the Trust with the Bankers for safe custody and collection of interest, dividend, etc. and
also to deposit the Trust Fund in any Bank Account opened in the name of the Trust.
(6) The Trustees decisions as to whether any sum, assets or shares or security received in respect of and
forming part of the Trust Fund should be treated as capital or revenue income shall be final.
(2) To take over any other Charitable Trust, Society, Association, company or Institution with similar
objects fulfilling the existing Act, rules in force.
All the properties, assets and funds of the Trust shall vest in the name of the Trust and be held in such
manner as the Board of Trustees shall direct and such Trustees shall hold the same for and on behalf of
the Trust, according to law applicable.
a) The said sum of Rs. 3000.00 (Three thousand only) paid by the Settler to the Trust as nucleus for the
said Trust and received by the Trustees for the purpose of the Trust.
b) The Trust Funds may be augmented by the income from the initial fund and also by income-
generation and from donation and contribution from time to time.
c) All interest and/or other income that arises out of the assets of the Trust.
d) All assets that may be purchased, acquired from and out of the said funds, or otherwise acquired for
the said Trust.
e) All investments and realizations there from or out of the said funds and assets.
f) All funds and assets which by any lawful means become the property of the Trust.
g) Fees collected for imparting knowledge through classes, seminars, workshop etc., without any profit
motive.
h) Any payments received through the course of business or other income generating activities.
The objects and other provisions of the Trust have been framed and laid down in accordance with the law
so that this Trust shall never fail. But if at any time the Trustees find or come to know that any particular
provision hereof is invalid or contrary to the law, it shall be their duty to cancel and treat the same as
cancelled, so that the other provisions hereof may not be rendered invalid or otherwise affected.
(2) The Trustees shall appoint one or more Chartered Accountants, (as defined in the explanation to
Section 288(2) of the Income Tax Act, 1961) to audit the said accounts of the Trust. The said accounts
of the Trust shall be audited every year. Every appointment of the Auditors shall be eligible for re-
appointment. The funds of the Trust shall be invested in the modes specified under the provisions of the
Income Tax Act 1961 as amended from time to time.
(2) The Trustees shall have the power to frame Rules for the proper conduct of the affairs of the Trust
as well as of any of the institutions run by the Trust but not inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
(3) Should any controversy or doubt arise regarding the purport meaning or construction of these
presents or of any matter relating to the Trust the decision of the majority of the Trustees in respect of
the same shall be final. If any disputes, they will submit to the decision of the Advisory Board.
XXVI. AMENDMENT:
(1) The Trustee shall be entitled to amend, alter and rescind any clauses of this Trust Deed to remove
any difficulty that may arise for the proper conduct of its activities and to bring above any
improvement, to achieve the aims and objects of the Trust. However no such amendment shall be made
while it may prove to be repugnant to the provisions of Section2 (15), 11, 12 and 13 and 80-G of the
Income-Tax Act, 1961.
(2) Any amendment to the Trust Deed, shall be made/ carried out only with the prior approval of the
Commissioner of Income tax (Exemption) after getting tax exemption.
Charitable Institution, Society or any registered Body having objects similar to the Trust to be
determined unanimously by the Trustees for the time being.
(2) In the event of dissolution of Trust, the entire trust funds shall be realized and first be used for
payment of liabilities of the Trust. The assets left if any shall be disbursed, after obtaining prior
approval of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemption), New Delhi to other Trust/ Society having
similar objectives and who have been granted registration u/s 12AA of the Income Tax Act 1961. In no
circumstances it shall be distributed in any manner to any member of the Trust or their relatives or their
related concerns respectively
(3) The dissolution of the Trust may be affected by a Special Resolution passed by a majority of three-
fourth of the Trustees present at the Special meeting convened for the purpose and with the consent of
the Chairman/ Managing Trustee of the Trust there remains after the Satisfaction of all its debts and
liabilities, any property whatsoever, the same shall not be paid or distributed amongst the Trustees of
the Trust, but shall be given or transferred to some other like Institutions having same Aims and Objects
to be determined by the Board of Trustees at or before the time of dissolution.
