Advantages or disadvantages of having a nanny

However, there are many disadvantages on hiring a nanny. The most important
one is the cost. Not everyone can afford a nanny, it can be a bit expensive.
Secondly, some parents don't like the feel of lacking privacy. It's not always nice
to have somebody to go through your fridge and wardrobe.

Having a nanny means having more flexibility while your child gets to stay at
home which is very important for many parents. Firstly, scheduling a nanny can
be more flexible, for instance, if you have to stay at work longer, you don't need
to rush to pick up your child from the kindergarden because it closes at 4pm.
Secondly, your child stays at home in the comfort of his/her favourite toys and
environment. You don't need to wake him up early in the morning, to get ready
for kindergarden. He stays in a familiar surroundings where he can nap and eat
on his own schedule.

To sum up, having a nanny has lots of benefits, but they are usually followed by
some downsides, like money and privacy. In my opinon, it would be nice to
have a nanny for your child until the age of three, but as your child gets older a
daycare center would later definitely be a better option.

Many working parents have the same dilemma when they need to give their
young child for a nanny care services. Doubts about nanny care are not
unreasonable. So, what are some advantages and disadvantages of having a
nanny?
