Achieved Language Skills  Sophia has been an active student. She does what to be instructed. As a

opinions and sharing her knowledge.

 She listens carefully to the questions and she is able to give accurate
responses.

 She has learned how to summarize a paragraph or passage based on her


understanding and using her own words.

Target Improvements  She should take down all the new words and new expressions encountered.

 She should review the new words and use in a sentence. Also practice how to
pronounce the vocabulary words.

Homework  Student must study the vocabulary list in advanced not during the class. The
숙제 learner must learn how to apply different functions of the word on his own
when the teacher asks through concept-checking and repetitive patterns.
 Read and search information about the reading passage.
 Do assigned daily tasks and exercises in the book
 Take note of the new sentence patterns your teacher types on the Skype.
 Always review learned lessons in a day
 Try NOT to repeat the same mistake in speaking
 Always study and read GRAMMAR rules learned in the class
Advice  Always do extensive reading. If you have enough time, your teacher is
선생님 조언 recommending you to read basic English books (fairy tales and easy short
stories). There is also listening file of these books. You may read and listen. It
will enhance your listening and organizational skills.
 Watch English animation or movies for listening and conversation exposure.
 You may also read comic novels to practice dialogues and sentence patterns.
 At the same time, through this reading practice, you are surely going to
encounter new vocabulary.
 Study and practice the complex verb tenses and word order.
