 Tardiness and absences
 CSS ME No. 23, 1998
o Allowed absence in month is 2.5 days only
o Absences for more than 2.5 days per month for 3 months in a semester is
considered habitual absences
 Penalty for habitual absences:
o 1st offense: Suspension for 6 mons. & 1 day up to 1 year
o 2nd offense: Dismissal
 Penalty for habitual tardiness:
o 1st offense: Reprimand
o 2nd offense: Suspension for 1 day – 30 days
o 3rd offense: Dismissal

o Form 6 must be filed 30 days before endorsement signed by the
