2 pechugas de polo
1 cubo de caldo de gallina
4 tazas de agua
2 tazas de arroz
100 gramos de habichuelas
100 gramos de arvejas desgranadas
1 zanahoria pelada y cortada en pequeños cuadritos
50 mililitros de aceite de girasol o de oliva
1 cucharada de triguisar o adobo completo
1 ajo finameente picado o una cucharadita de pasta de ajo
Sal y pimienta al gusto
Preparacion
1. En una olla mediana poner el agua, el ajo y el pollo y sazonar con sal y pimienta.
2. Cuando las pechugas esten blandas, sacarlas en otro recipiente y dezmenuzar cuando
enfrien un poco.
3. En el caldo añadir el arroz, con el resto de los ingredientes y mezclar bien.
4. Dejar cocinar a fuego medio bajo hasta que el arroz seque bien.
5. Luego añadir mayoria el pollo y revolver otra vez cuidadosmente.
6. Servir con mas pollo.
Rice with Chicken (English version)
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
1 Chicken stock cube
4 pints water
2 pints rice
100 grams of french beans
100 grams garden peas
1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into small pieces
50 ml sunflower oil or olive oil
1 tbsp all-purpose seasoning
1 clove garlic, minced or a tbsp of garlic paste
Salt and pepper
Preparation
1. In a medium size saucepan boil the water, garlic,chicken and add salt and pepper.
2. When the chicken is tender, take it out in other container and when it cools slightly shred
it with your hands into medium pieces.
3. In the broth, add the rice with the remaining ingredients and mix well.
4. Let cook over medium low heat until the rice is dry.
5. Then add most of the chicken and stir again carefully.
6. Serve with chicken on the top.
Tallarín Rojo: Spaghetti in Red Sauce
Ingredients:
1 kilo spaghetti
1 diced onion
1 clove garlic
4 diced tomatoes, peeled and de-seeded
1 tablespoon crushed bay leaf, softened in a cup of red wine
1 whole bay leaf
1/2 kilo of browned ground beef or chopped grilled beef
1 cup whole mushrooms
1 tablespoon of red chili pepper
3 tablespoons of tomato sauce
1 grated carrot
Beef broth (as needed)
Oil, salt, and diced cilantro
Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
Make an dressing (a base) by sauteeing in oil: chili pepper , garlic and onion, until
softened and translucent.
Add the diced tomato, tomato sauce, carrot, bay leaf and the wine in which the
crushed bay leaf has been marinating, and the whole mushrooms. Cook over a low
heat for 15 minutes.
Add the browned ground beef or chopped grilled meat, and beef broth.
Before pouring sauce over the cooked spaghetti al dente, sprinkle diced cilantro on
top. If you wish, you can garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
Ingredientes:
1 kilo de espaguetis
1 cebolla picadita
1 diente de ajo
4 tomates sin piel ni pepas en cuadritos
1 cucharada de laurel remojado en una taza de vino tinto
1 hoja de laurel
1/2 kilo de carne molida (o asado)
Hongos o champiñones enteros
1 cucharada de ají colorado (o especial)
3 cucharadas de salsa de tomate
1 zanahoria rallada
Caldo de res (cantidad necesaria)
Aceite, sal, culantro picado
Queso parmesano
Preparación:
Hacer un aderezo con el aceite, ají, ajo y cebolla. Añadir el tomate, la salsa de
tomate, la zanahoria, el laurel y los hongos enteros con el vino del remojo, dejar
cocinar a fuego bajo por quince minutos. Añadir la carne molida y caldo de res.
Sazonar y cocinar unos minutos más en olla sin tapar. Antes de servir sobre los
tallarines cocinados al dente esparza culantro picado por encima. Si quiere le
puede agregar queso parmesano rallado.
