Materials: Pattern notes:

Circular needle size E/4, 31.5 inches (3,5 mm, You’ll decrease regularly as you go
80 cm) along so the shawl will end in a point.

Pattern:
Cast on 365 stitches on needle size E/4.

Knit 5 rows in rib * Knit 1, purl 1*

Edging stitches right side:


Slip the first stitch loosely knitwise, knit 2 together, knit the pattern until you have 2 stitches
left, knit 2 together through the back loops.

On the wrong side rows, purl all stitches.

On the right side rows you’ll decrease 1 stitch at each end.


On the 8th row, you’ll need to decrease 3 stitches each end like this: Slip the first stitch
loosely knitwise, knit 2 together through the back loops, yarn over, knit 4 stitches together
through the back loops, *knit 5, knit 2 together, yarn over, knit 1, yarn over, knit 2 together* ,
Repeat from * to * until you have 12 stitches left, knit 4 together, yarn over, knit 1, knit 2
together.
From now on you’ll decrease with 3 stitches at each end, every 6 rows.

After you’ve finished the last pattern diagram, make the point like this = 9 stitches on
your needle:

1st row (wrong side): Purl.


2nd row (right side): Slip first stitch loosely, knit 2 together through the back loops, yarn over,
knit 3 together through the back loops, yarn over, knit 1, knit 2 together = 7 stitches.
3rd row: Purl
4th row: Slip first stitch loosely, knit 1, knit 3 together through the back loops, knit 2 = 5
stitches.
5th row: Purl.
6th row: Knit 1, knit 3 together through the back loops, knit 1 = 3 stitches.
7th row: Slip first stitch loosely, purl 2 together, lift the loose stitch over.

Cut the yarn, pull through the final stitch and weave in ends.
