Carter Dureya is a hotshot business school prodigy, who at the age of 26 is getting paid the big bucks

in a media company. He is brought in as a head of the ad sales for sports America magazine replacing
the veteran 51 years old Dan Foreman. Carter is high on conscientiousness and is highly focused on
the achievement, recognition and pursuing of goal. He is intelligent, quick witted and is putting his
best foot forward to increase the sales of the company. But he lacks on the human to human
experience which is the main dichotomy from the style of working of last incumbent of his post.
Though Carter lacks practical experience in the field, he with his creativity plans to bring a change in
the sales of the firm. He is also a spendthrift who buys a luxurious car just after getting the
promotion and joining the office.

Challenges faced : Though Carter was an achiever in the office , he had a rough phase going in the
personal life. He was recently divorced and had almost zero social life after office. Owing to this he
used to spend most of the time in office , used to surround himself with people after working hours
and worked on weekends. In a nutshell he had no work- life balance and this also reflected in his
work. He was more interested in the outcomes at work and gave almost no importance to the inter-
personal relations at workplace.
