At the end of the lesson, the pupils could be able to:

A. tell ideas as to what could happen next from stories heard;


B. show what is likely to happen from stories heard; and
C. appreciate the value of being courageous.

this morning you are going to tell what could
happen next from the stories heard.

Sarah: The crow could drink the water in the
jar.
Well, Let us find out if your prediction is
correct.
I will be showing to you the video of this
story. I want you to watch and listen
attentively in this video.

series of events given. The relationship of the
previous and present events can signal what
could happen next.

F. Application
Let us have another activity.
I will divide the class into three groups. I
have here another situation. I will read to you
the situation.

Bentong was watching his favorite TV


program while eating bananas. Mother
reminded him to put the peeling into the
garbage can but he didn’t listen. His
mother called him for launch. He stood up
and stepped on the banana peel. He
dropped on the floor.

What is likely to happen next?


Each group have different instruction in
showing what is likely to happen next.
Group 1: You are going to sing.
Group 2: You are going to perform a
pantomime.
You know what is pantomime,
class?
Pantomime is a performance in
which a story is told without words by using
body movements and facial expressions.
Group 3: You will going to dramatize it.
Lastly, all groups must have a short yell
before going to present.
I will just give you 4 minutes to prepare
and be ready.
