“The Important of English Language”

Firstly, let say thanks to our God’s , Allah SWT, because Allah blessing we can stand here in this
place with good condition without any problem. Amiin
Secondly, can I introduce my self. My name is Arditya, I’m studying in Islamic Education of this
University. And in this time, I would talk about “The Important of English Language”.
Ladies and gentlemen,
English is an International language. Because this language is very universal and used for
communicate among people around the world. English is a window to acquire knowledge. As we know, a
lot of book, like encyclopedia, discoveries, invention are written and published in English. We will not be
separated from the English language, because this language can exist everywhere, like on the computer,
the internet, even in mobile phone. So from this statement we can know that English is exactly beneficial
for our life.
Ladies and gentlemen,
For me, English is very important. Because English allows me to develop and interact as social
beings. In this case, developing means to follow the modern era of globalization. And compete for a
success as a student. And also, the interaction is where we can communicate with the other people around
the world. So, it’s very important. Do you agree with me ? I hope so… That’s mean English is very
important for us.
Ladies and gentlemen,
We are Indonesian people, even, we live in Bali, a small island in Indonesia but very famous in
the world. Indonesian people are very friendly. So we have to communicate in English and tourism is
growing. To rich this goal, we must mastering our traditional language, traditional custom and own
traditional habit. Cause it impossible to explain and introduce our culture to the foreigner if we don’t
understand and be able to speak English.
Ladies and gentlemen,
 There is a saying, “If you can speak English, you will be able to control the world easily”.
However, there are still many people who can not speak English. The main reason is they are lazy to learn
english, because it’s not used in their daily life. Some of Indonesian people may be think that it’s not
necessary to be able to master english, because we live in Indonesia, we speak Indonesian language, and
all our families are Indonesian people. The others think that English is difficult lesson, so they are
reluctant to learn english. But from now, we have to change our mind. Why ? because we live in modern
era. We have to compete with the others people. We have to reach our dream. It will be happen if we can
communicate in english, right ? . And the other so many information we can get from the internet. It’s
very useful for us as student. By Internet, we can find information about everything to support our school.
It will be easier if we know english well.
Ladies and gentlemen,
More over, English is a fun language and we can learn english in some easy ways. Well, no let me
tell you how to learn english easily.
Establish your intention and determination to master the english. If there is strong will, the next, you will
enjoy in learning english. The most important part of a language is vocabulary. You can set how many
targets to memorize the new vocabulary in one day. The more you know vocabularies, The more you will
be able to speak.
Learn English grammar, even though you have a lot of vocabulary. But try to makes your growing
vocabulary. The important basic is you can control such as construct a true sentences. To train your
hearing to hear english. You can use english song, listen and compare it with song lyrics. Or you can
download video from youtube may be about english conversation, english training etc.
Practice speaking english. Remember with “Practice makes Perfects ?” Of course, seriously works
without practicing what you have learnt, it’s will be nothing. If you can’t practice all of the thing you
have got. Start with a simple dialoge with your family or yout friend.
Don’t ever give up and fell afraid. Needs quite to long time to be able to speak english. Don’t
afraid to makes mistakes, because from mistakes we can learn more and more, just fell confident
whenever and wherever you try to practice it.
The other ways to practice English by following English competition. Like Story telling, speech
contest, guiding, etc.
Ok, Ladies and gentlemen,
I think that’s all of my speech. We can conclude that english is very important. So, learn english
also important too. Those are some of the ways I can suggest to you. If you are interested in one of them
or some of them. Why don’t you try to do it from now ? I believe we can develop our english, soon. Well
