US India Deloitte Technology Support Services – IT Operations Site Manager

You are experienced in IT Infrastructure Service Operations and Delivery. You have the ability to lead a team of
Technology professions to manage IT Site operations and have a strong understanding of how IT is a trusted and
important business enabler and partner.

Work you’ll do

As a IT Operations Site manager, you will lead a team of IT support professionals at a US India Site office – Mumbai
location. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsible for:
 Overseeing the delivery of IT services from Mumbai location by maintaining necessary access to
technology support. Oversee and work with office/block managers to ensure office has and maintains a
service delivery model focused on customer service. In addition, team will be responsible for asset
deployments, print services, laptop lifecycle, remote/project site support, etc.
 Leadership of day-to-day management of the IT walk-up centers and related operations in Mumbai
location. From a tactical perspective, works with all required infrastructure teams (Sever Operations,
Telephony, Videoconferencing, etc.) and leadership to ensure Mumbai office is operational all year round
and staff can access resources hosted in a practice office and/or a centralized data center servers and
storage devices.
 Work with office block leads, technicians and teams to understand the business of the customer and the
challenges they are facing. Use the information gathered to ensure the regional team can keep in sync
with and aligned to the customers’ timelines and priorities.
 Building, collaborating and successfully managing relationships with all levels of personnel, from staff on
up to partners/directors at Mumbai site office.
 Develops people and leads team in Mumbai site office. This includes performance management, goal
setting, professional development, coaching/mentoring, team recognition, and recruiting activities. In
addition, the IT Operations site manager will work with the AVP IT Operations on HR issues, such as
promotions, R&R policies, compensation, PIPs and decisions relating to terminations for the Mumbai
location.
 Analyze and collaborate with AVP IT Operations to manage services within budget guidelines, developing
cost control measures, and provides input into budget with regards to hardware/software, staff travel,
peripherals and related operational expenditures for Mumbai office.
 Maintain metric reports and monitor all security, risk, and compliance activities that occur in the Mumbai
location. The IT Operations Site manager will set monthly goals and track progress on a daily, weekly or
monthly basis. Working with Block leads, this person will find ways to improve overall reliability while
finding ways to streamline work processes and increase productivity. This would include media collection,
preservation, and destruction of data for general counsel holds and litigation.
 Works through AVP IT Operations to coordinate with Information Security Risk and Compliance team and
the Office of General Counsel in response to these matters. Responsible for managing, measuring and
reporting all aspects of PC/Mobile device compliance for the Site office with policy, standards and
guidelines managed by ITS. Manages additional projects and initiatives at regional or national levels, as
assigned.

The team

US India Deloitte Technology Support Services supports deploys Deloitte US India firm personnel for all IT service
and support operations. We do this in collaboration with all Technology teams and business. This team is part of
US Information Technology Services (ITS). Our team comprises a director, several senior managers, and site
managers located across India offices. All our team members specialize in IT Infrastructure Technology Service
Support and Operations. This position will report to the AVP-IT Operations responsible for US – India region.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s/Masters in Engineering/Technology preferred with 09 to 12 years of progressive experience with


technology support, project management and leading people/teams
 Intermediate Microsoft Office – MS Visio and Project, Intermediate proficiency in general database,
infrastructure, application, or network design and operations
 One or more of the following certification - CISA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL
 Excellent people management and leadership skills
 Excellent presentation and communication skills
 Strong background in IT – able to learn how to use new technologies (apps, mobile devices, etc.)
 Change Management experience
 Ability to effectively communicate business needs to the technology teams
 Exposure to information security and data privacy
 Well organized and able to work on own initiative
 Good interpersonal skills, able to influence and engender collaboration

Work location: Mumbai


Work timings: 9am to 6pm(will need to be available for calls periodically after hours but can take the call from home)
