Program Overview
The Data Protection Act (DPA) Foundation training course will provide the participants a good overview and
understanding of key concepts, obligations/requirements and rights granted by the Data Protection Act of
2012 (RA10173). It combines a mixture of theory and discussion sessions to examine the legislation and
requirements on organizations in handling personal data. The course will also explore methods of
complying with the Data Protection Act whilst supporting business objectives.

This course will enable participants to go back to their organizations with up-to-date information and
knowledge on the use and access on personal data with regards to the current legal compliance position.
