 SUMMARY

mode and means of transport is the most suitable to move their products
without affecting them any. When choosing the mode of transport that best suits
our products, there are some aspects that should be taken into account such
as:

1. The budget is the most important factor followed by the speed of transport.

2. If dangerous products are to be transported, you must contact the dangerous

goods department of the transport department.

3. If the products are very expensive or sent by sea, it is better to have

insurance, or also to obtain a vehicle tracking system and thus know where it is.

4. The supplier must ensure that the cargo is well packaged and labeled to
reduce risk of damage.

MODES OF TRANSPORT

Road: It is economical and more flexible; you can have delays if you have a
busy schedule. the dimensions of the trucks, height, weight and length must be
taken into account.

Rail: It is fast, environmentally friendly, uncompromising and in the end it can

be expensive. To be able to ship the products in this way you have to buy a
package of rail transport to a freight operating company. It is cheaper when
carrying loads of 300 or more tons, goes 150 miles and is connected in places
with rail.

Air: It is the fastest, most expensive and is not ecological. It is charged per
kilograms and you have to check if the freight agent to hire has experience in
shipping to the country of destination.

Sea: It is more or less cheap even more when large loads are sent, it is the
slowest and most inflexible by the few ports.
Courier: They are fast, safe, reliable, but they can be expensive. for the vehicle
they use they carry only merchandise with a certain weight.
