SUBJECT : PROFESSIONAL FEE ON STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

In view of your request regarding the structural analysis, design and certification of the specified structure,
here is my proposal for structural engineering service inclusion of scope of work and its corresponding
professional fee for structural design.

SCOPE OF WORK FOR STRUCTURAL DESIGN FEE FEE

1. Structural Stability Certification Report (with illustrations of structural
enhancements and connection details) – 1 set
a. Building 1 (Total Floor Area ≈ 13,000 sq.m.) 325,000.00
2. Structural Analysis Technical Report – 1 set
3. Signed and Sealed Document (Structural Stability Certification Report
and Structural Analysis Technical Report)
4. Clear Copy of PTR, PRC ID, ASEP ID – 1 set
PROFESSIONAL FEE FOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES: 325,000.00

The total amount of structural engineering service fee based on the scope of work presented is
PHILIPPINE PESO THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND (Php. 325,000.00) excluding tax. Upon
acceptance of the said proposal the client/proponent has to pay 50% of the design fee and the
remaining 50% is payable as soon as the submission of the design to the client. Upon acceptance of each
payment, the client will receive and will sign for the acknowledgment receipt of the payment. Table
below shown is the reflection of terms of payment:

1st Payment (upon acceptance, 50% 162,500.00

of the total fee)
2nd Payment (upon submission to the 162,500.00
client, 50% of the total fee, remaining)
TOTAL: 325,000.00

The structural analysis that will be conducted will be based on the as-built plan the client will provide
and will submit to the structural engineer. It is highly recommended to perform Non‐Destructive Test to
identify with precision regarding the existing compressive strength of concrete using Rebound Hammer
and as well as the arrangement of the steel bars for beam, column, slab, and foundation using Rebar
Scanner. In the event the client fails to perform the aforementioned requested data, the structural
engineer will assume the least possible/reasonable properties that can be used based on his engineering
judgment and observations. Mode of analysis that will be conducted will incorporate structural
behavior under strong winds and probabilistic magnitude of seismic activity within the zone to better
understand the impact of the loads coming from other sources other than dead loads and live loads

The duration of performing the specified scopes will run from 5 days to 10 days per structure due to
possible optimization of strength requirement to carry the desired additional loading as found deficient
and/or weakened in the recommendation of the conducted certification report through the evidence of
structural analysis-technical report.

In case the client needs the presence of the structural engineer regarding report presentations to the
concerned city hall officer for buildings/structures or any concerned individuals that requires
expounding the content of the report for better apprehension, the client will be charged an amount of
PHILIPPINE PESO EIGHT THOUSAND (Php 8,000.00) per day for consultancy purpose. The said amount
should be paid immediately after the meeting/consultancy under cash on delivery (cod).
