1: Identify the theme.
• Your art book can be extremely personal, or it can be purely informational.
• You can include text with your pictures.
• Remember – you’ll be sharing your art book with the class (so make sure it’s appropriate).
2: Plan your pages.
• It is easiest to create your art book once you know what you want it to be about and what
materials you want to use.
3: Design your page compositions
• Include elements of art: line, shape, form, color, value, texture, space
• Use the grading rubric to guide your plans.
