Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, born on 9 September 1949, in

the National Military Academy(AMN), Magelang, Central
Java.Next day AMN change name be Akabri.entering Pacitan State
Junior High School, located south of the square. this is an
idol school for the childrens of the city of Pacitan.SBY
struggling to realize his childhood aspirations of being a
soldier by entering the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy
(AKABRI)after graduating from senior high school in late 1968.
So, because late register, SBY indirect Akabri. then SBY had
time to became a Institute of Mechanical Engineering student
(its) November 10 Surabaya.

Yet after,SBY chose entering education teacher school first

continuation (PGSLP),In Malang,east java. 1970 years, finally
entering Akabri in Magelang,centrel java, after passed the
final acceptance test in Bandung.
He achieve the title of the best graduate Akabri of 1973 by
receiving the Adhi Makasaya badge.
His military education continued on Air Courses and Rangers at
Fort Benning, Georgia, USA (1976), Advanced Course Infantry
Officers at Fort Benning, Georgia, USA (1982-1983) with a
bachelor's degree, Forest Warfare Training in Panama (1983).
Then Anti Tank Weapon Course in Belgium and Germany (1984),
Course for Battalion Commander in Bandung (1985), Seskoad in
Bandung (1988-1989) and Command and General Staff School at
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, USA (1990-1991).
An MA degree is obtained from Webster University AS. His
military career journey began with holding positions as Dan
Tonpan 330 Kostrad Airborne Infantry Battalion (Third Platoon
Commander in Rifle A Company, 330 Airborne Infantry Battalion
/ Tri Dharma, Kostrad) in 1974-1976, directing around 30
soldiers directly.

Meanwhile, his political career step began on January 27,

2000, when he decided to retire early from the president's
shoulder as Minister of Mines and Energy in the administration
of President KH Abdurrahman Wahid.
Shortly thereafter, SBY also positioned his position as
Minister of Religion because Abdurrahman asked him to hold a
Menkopolsoskam trial.
On August 10, 2001, President Megawati trusted and installed
him as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security
Affairs of the Gotong Royong Cabinet. On March 11, 2004, he
chose to resign from the post of Coordinating Minister for
Politics and Security.

And finally, in the second presidential election on the second

round of September 20, 2004, SBY, who paired up with Jusuf
Kalla, won the majority of Indonesians with 60 percent of
votes in attas. And on October 20, 2004 he was appointed 6th
President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Then after the end of his position in 2009, he then announced

that he would go forward again as a presidential candidate
with the one accompanied by Boediono as the vice president who
was carried by the Democratic party.
