JAGSUN GROUP- JAGDISH SUNHERI GROUP, an offshoot of the group founded by Late
Sh. JAGDISH PRASAD GARG, ranks among area top private sector business in terms of
goodwill. The group has business interests that range from growing of crops (farming), to
trading & further milling (especially paddy).

Jagsun Industries is one the booming and rice trading accentuating industry situated in the
capital city Delhi. It was established in 1986 with an aim of providing best quality products
to their consumers without any constraints or barriers eroding their growth in the corporate
world. Jagsun rice trading Industry is operated by the current designated Director Mr. Gaurav
Gupta. It is also consider as one of the finest and the remarkable industries which gives
special value to the services of their trusting clients. It largely covers the national as well as
the International corporate market and is also affiliated with leading corporate Industries in
order to provide best solutions for your services.

g) Organizational Culture and Climate

Work culture plays an important role in extracting the best out of employees and making
them stick to the organization for a longer duration. A healthy work culture leads to satisfied
employees and an increased productivity. The working culture at the work place of my
internship training is really nice. The atmosphere is stress-free and interactive. They are
being patient towards letting us learn things at our pace but at the same time are keen
observers that everyone is working. The environment is undoubtedly relaxing, not so hyped
but they know how to get work done by others by silently motivating people to work at their
best potentials to serve the organization.

They stimulate innovation, encourage calculated risk taking and accept mistakes as a part of
the learning process. They encourage experiential learning and believe in clear delegation of
authority and acceptance of personal accountability. They are open to Discussing alternative
views and build on constructive feedback. The management takes care of all its employees.
They are supportive and helpful towards making the interns learn work.

i. Task Achievement Orientation

This orientation is characterized by the achievement motivation need emphasizing internal


drive towards achievement through hard work. In Jagsun private limited, they have almost 60
employees from different departments, and it is the responsibility of the every department to
meet those standards set by the firm. It means that there is standard set for every employee in
the organization. The firm measures the output produced with the standards to find out
deviation and take corrective action.

Eg: - In Jagsun private limited, they assigned daily tasks to their employees like searching the
suppliers of the products given to them and persuade them to offer the products at lower prices.

ii. People Orientation

(a) Organization trusts its employees as it is specified in the vision of the organization.

(b) Every employee has some responsibility and authority. The work is delegated, and every
employee of a department participates in decision-making.

(c) Employees are willing to work happily as various training, rewards and benefits are
provided to them.

(d) There is proper leave policy in the organization so employee absenteeism is low.

(e) There is three days On-boarding program for every new joining.

(f) Employee Welfare measures includes cross exposure training. Facility of “Café Connect”
where morning tea and evening tea is provided to all the staff of firm

Eg: - In Jagsun private limited, the supervisors has given their employees many advantages
of working in their company. They have many policies for their employees so that employees
do not feel that they are not with any restrictions.

iii. Team Orientation

(a) The work in a team is assigned in such a way that each member of the team has its
specified role to complete that work.

(b) Every employee has his or her KRA (Key Responsibility Area) i.e., role clarity is there.
At the time of joining, employee is provided with detailed description of what the
organization expect them to perform, or what are their duties.

(c) If an employee wants to suggest something or wants to improve anything in the


organization, he/she is most welcome. He / she can communicate the same to its immediate
supervisor or to GM directly.

(d) There are no such conflicts regarding the policy and facility. Everything is made clear
beforehand.

Eg: - There are different groups divided in different departments so that no conflicts and problem arises
among the employees and also the tasks are given to every specific group with a limited time period.

iv. Competition Orientation

Organization accepts the change in the environment or in the competitor’s strategy.


However, the organization does not copy the same thing of competitors, but it considers the
surveys and research work which is conducted by a third party called to bring something
more innovative than that of the competitors.

make their product the way consumer wants, so that they can beat their competitors in the
market.

(a) Organization believes in “Open communication system” whether vertical or horizontal.


Every employee has been given a list of names and numbers of personnel from every
department for communication purpose.

(b) Organizational policies have been made available to each employee timely via web and
through notice board.

(c) Weekly departmental meetings and monthly profit and loss meetings are conducted with
the GM for sales and marketing team, including Revenue team.

(d) Organization follows the “Open door policy” i.e., for any query or permission, an employee
can contact GM by taking an appointment or even directly in most important scenarios.

Environmental analysis is a strategic tool which identifies all the external and internal
elements, which can affect the organizations performances. The analysis entails assessing the
level of threats or opportunities the factors might present. These evolutions are later
translated into the decision- making process. The analysis helps align strategies with the
firm’s environment.

2.1 Internal Environment/Company Analysis

2.1.1 Market Share

Market share represents the percentage of the company or market’s total sales that is earned
by a company over a specified time. As it can be considered as strength and weakness for the
company as it must become market leader in upcoming future.

2.1.2 Market Leadership

Jagsun Private limited is a holistic organization with a mature interdependence policy. The
management at Jagsun believes in Benchmarking different aspects of the organization against the
best in the world. To know the best practices available in various functions of their company,
Jagsun Company has a strategy of equipping itself with the toughest standards. As they direct
contact with the outside company’s suppliers, thus the firm focuses mainly on their services and
maintain their customer by making them satisfied in every way from quality to services. The
marketing Strategies which the firm use to enhance its productivity is as follows-

i. Audience Analysis

The firm is taking opinion and suggestions from their customers about the products and
services provided to them. The firm makes different designs of a single product for their
customers and launches in the market and any suggestions for changes in the design.

With Influencers another way to gain and extend firm awareness is by collaborating with the
suppliers in the market. Here, Jagsun Private Limited. Is also collaborating with many
company’s suppliers to grow their business.

relationship with their existing customers as well as the new ones. This affects the firm’s
turnover or business a lot.

in the risky situation and will be facing the difficulty in raising funds in future.
