Believe in the Process

- 1st Step: Have faith and belief in the process.

- If you are in doubt, look around you. Everything you can see began as a goal in someone’s head. Turn your
thoughts into a reality.

Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.

Write it down

- Write your goals and schedule dates for their completion and evaluation. Set you as Creator
- If you neglect this step, you may continue to forget them or they will diminish in importance.
- See them every day - increase your chances of achieving them.

Increase brain activity, heighten retention, improve thought organization and promote idea generation

Process Information Better

Specific

- Greater chance of being accomplished if it deals with specific facts and events.
- If your directions are vague, they can be misconstrued and easily skipped over.
- Specific goals provide precision to your training program or routine.

Measurable

- Concrete criteria to measure progress towards their achievement.

- Identify what you will see, hear and feel to feel more accomplished when you reach your goal
- Effective goal setting: break your goal down into measurable elements.

Attainable

- While there is nothing wrong with shooting for the stars, it is important to investigate whether the goal is
really applicable to you and your lifestyle.
- Don’t set yourself up to fail = miserable.
- For the most effective goal setting, ensure you are planning your steps wisely and establishing a realistic
time frame that will allow you to carry out those steps.

Realistic

- Nothing demotivates more than not being able to achieve something you set up to do.
- Willing and able to work towards.
- Only you can ensure there is a realistic chance that given the right circumstances, you are able to achieve
it.

Timely

- Every set goal should be grounded within a time frame = sense of urgency.
- Creating motivation that can keep morale high. On the one hand, being too stringent on the timely aspect
of goal setting can motivate, but it can also have the opposite effect, demotivating if you aren’t ticking the
boxes on schedule.

Remain accountable

- When you are working towards a goal, things are bound to get tough. When facing adversity, you have to
hold yourself accountable.
- Telling your family and friends: responsibility you need, helping you gather the support system to give you
a push.
- Remain accountable in your everyday life

Don’t be afraid to ask for help

- Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of, as freshening up your skills may be the thing that sets you
apart.
- One step closer to achieving your goals.

Don’t be shy about asking for help. It doesn’t mean you’re weal, it only means you’re wise.

Continuously assess your progress

- As time goes on, our goals are constantly changing and evolving.
- The end result may not look anything like what we initially set out to do; however, this can sometimes be a
good thing. In order to learn from your mistakes and assist you next time, constantly assess your progress
throughout your goal-setting journey.

“Begin with the end in mind.” – Stephen Covey

Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.

Benjamin Franklin

Write A to Do List

- One of the most effective time management strategies around.

- By knowing exactly what it is you need to do on any given day, you are less likely to waste time on
unnecessary tasks.
- Properly thought out will help you identify what is essential, and what is largely unnecessary.
- Checking off items as you complete them; this will help you to retain focus and drive.

Remove Yourself from Distraction

- Often by websites, social media, or electronic devices.

- Remove yourself from that distraction.
- At least set a daily time limit on it.

Take Breaks When Working

- Keep your productivity high, which in turn makes managing your time a breeze.
- A well-timed break will restore your energy and focus for a particular task, and let you plan out the work
ahead of you.

Break Big Tasks Up Into Smaller Chunks

- If there is a particular task you are procrastinating hard on then try to visualize it as a series of smaller, more
manageable components.
- This will do wonders for your ability to get things done in time.

Find Your Most Productive Times

- All of us are our most productive at different times of the day.

Become More Efficient

- No matter what work it is you do on a daily basis, there is bound to be at least one way to improve your
efficiency at doing it.
- If you’re a student, then coming up with a method of studying that allows you to learn more in less time –
such as the use of flash cards – is another example of improving the efficiency of your work.

Accept Your Limitations

- Even if you give a 110% effort, there will be occasions when you simply cannot get everything done that
you wanted in any given time frame. Don’t let these unavoidable limitations deplete your drive and
determination, which will in turn make it harder to manage your time effectively. Accept that there are
limits to your productivity, efficiency, and ability to manage your time – and many of these limits are simply
beyond your control.

- Deploy these time management strategies in your daily routine and enjoy significantly enhanced
productivity. In turn, this will result in you feeling more confident and happy about yourself. You have the
power to manage your time properly, and now you have a toolkit of useful resources to ensure the job gets
done.

Time = life; therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.
Alan Lakein

Selecting the right attitude.

When our attitude is right, we can achieve maximum results.

The right attitude can bring out the best in others.

Interact with people who have positive attitudes because they will help us achieve our best.

Make a conscious effort.

- Make a deliberate effort to work on your attitude.

- Never really saw the value of it until I hit rock bottom.
- Make a conscious effort to improve my attitude despite what was going on in my life.
- Nothing will change if you don’t change.
- Don’t let circumstances or misfortunes dictate your attitude. Decide today to build up your attitude and
attract the right kind of people into your life from here on out.

Create an affirmation card.

- Writing an attitude affirmation card can be a total game changer for you when you’re rewiring and
reprogramming your thinking.
- “Speaking things into existence” by repeating affirmations over and over, and the same goes for when I
needed a change in my own attitude.
- This is just an example to help get you started, but you get the idea. We need to rewire and reprogram our
thinking and declare the exact type of attitude we want.

See goodness.
- Most poor attitudes stem from your perception of something, so start to look for the good in everyone and
everything you come in contact with. If you look for the positive, your attitude will reflect that. An amazing
transformation takes place when you see the good in everyone and everything, even failure.
