III. Target Participants Teachers who are new in service and those who are former chairpersons of
Brigada Eskwela.
IV. Learning Objectives At the presentation, the participants should be able to:
a. be equipped with an understanding of the nature of National School’s
Maintenance Week aka Brigada Eskwela
b. be able to have knowledge and know-how in tapping external
stakeholders
c. be able to determine different practices in conducting Brigada Eskwela
V. Key Understanding 1. National school maintenance week, popularly known as Brigada Eskwela ,
is an annual event of DepEd where schools are prepared for the upcoming
school year.
2. External stakeholders refer to people in the community who are partners
of the school in meeting its needs.

A. Introductory Activity Energizing dance (Agadoo)
B. Activity 1. Lecture/discussion on the meaning, nature and characteristics of
stakeholders and schools maintenance needs
2. Conceptualization of activities for Brigada Eskwela
C. Analysis 1. What risks are present in the school that has to be addressed during BE
weekM?
2. What needs to be repaired, cleaned and replaced during BE week?
3. How can we reach out to stakeholders to address these risks and needs?
D. Abstraction Presentation and evaluation of outputs
E. Application How can stakeholders help you solve issues and concerns regarding the risks
and needs of the school?
