Bids are invited from suitably qualified service providers on contract IYM 03/08/2019T for the Supply, Delivery and
Installation of Server Infrastructure for Inxuba Yethemba Municipality.

Bid documents may be obtained at a non-refundable cost of R250.00 from the cashiers, no. 1 JA Calata Street,
Cradock, 5880 before 12pm on Thursday, 8 October2019 where after bids will be opened in public.

Compulsory briefing session to be held on 12 September 2019 10h00 at Town Hall, Inxuba Yethemba
Municipality, Middelburg EC.

Bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked “BID NO. IYM 03/08/2019T: “Electrification of Lusaka and Rosmead”
must be placed in the Bid box at the Registry Office during office hours at No. 1 JA Calata street, Cradock, 5880,
before 12pm on Friday, 8 October2019 where after bids will be opened in public.

The bids will be evaluated on the 80/20 preferential points system. Bidders that do not obtain a minimum
score of 70% on the functionality criteria will be excluded from further evaluation.

Functionality will be as follows:

Experience in electrification of households 20
Resources availability (Proof to be attached) 50
Expertise and qualifications of project team (Proof should be attached) 30
TOTAL 100 (MPS)

CONDITIONS OF PROJECT
The following conditions will apply:
 Price(s) quoted must be valid for at least ninety (90) days from date of your offer.
 Price(s) quoted must be firm and must be inclusive of VAT
  The quote must be submitted on a separate page containing the letterhead of your business.
 The quotation will be evaluated in terms of the 80/20 preference point system as prescribed in the Preferential
Procurement Policy Framework Act (No 5 of 2000) and for this purpose the enclosed forms MBD 2, MBD 4,
MBD 6.1, MBD 8 & MBD 9 must be scrutinised, completed and submitted together with your quotation.
 Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (MBD 2) OR Tax Compliance pin must be submitted.
 Valid certified copy of B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit.
 Proof of Company Registration Documents.
 Copy of certified ID of all directors must be submitted not older than three months.
 Utility bill or confirming status of municipal accounts (i.e. rates, water) not older than three months or lease
agreement.
 Attach the affidavit confirming that none of the Directors/Shareholders are employed on the service of the
state

Prospective bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Failure to comply shall render the
bid null and void. Failure to submit any compulsory document(s) shall render the bid null and void.

No late, incomplete, facsimile or email bids will be accepted for consideration. The only or lowest bid received shall
not necessarily be accepted.
