1. JOB PURPOSE:

This position manages the inhouse or contracted staff in all phases of building and
internal security within LLC. Responsibilties include the duties include the
coordination, scheduling and monitoring of various security measures and security
system’ test and inspection

3. DIMENSIONS:

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE: Department staffs associated with providing


and facilitating security.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR FINANCIALS: None

4. RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for directing, planning,managing and coordinationg the security


functions of LLC
 Responsible for carrying out the established security and life safety
procedures of the organization.
 Prepare and reports the incident report for adherence to established
procedures and ensures that preventive and/or corrective measures taken
necessary
 Completes security log reports, logging assignements of various routine
inspections.
 Take charge of the duty rotation of the contract securtiy staff
 Inspectes and patrols the exterior and interior of the facility and intitates
emergency program
 Collects all pertinent information, statements and evidence , photograhs, etc
and completes the incident reports, where necessary
 Ensures effective traffic control near the main entrance and parking areas of
the organization so as to have efficient flow and safety
 Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
 Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and
other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
 Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or

presence of unauthorized persons.
 Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict
violators from premises, using force when necessary.
 Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of
prohibited articles into restricted areas.
 Maintains public image with clients and general public within the factory.
 Initiatives continuous quality improvement programs for population served
 Attends regularly scheduled inter and intra departmental meetings
 Accepts all other additional assignment found necessary by the GM for the
smooth functioning of the operations.

5. DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

Seeks approval of Manager before taking any financial decisions

6. COMMUNICATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Managers, department personnel, employees, clients and visitors

External: Professional interaction for security activities of the LLC

7. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB


Educatio Graduate from a recognised university.

Experien Minimum of 5 -7years experience in security and safety related
ce experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a glass
manufacturing factory or any other manufacturing company.

Personnel with police and military background preferable

Preference to GCC nationals

Languag Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Arabic.
