 Introduction

The Acme Chemicals group of companies was founded with the incorporation of Acme
Chemicals (Far East) Pte Ltd in Singapore in 1980. The company operated as regional repre-
sentative for various multinational chemical companies for the regions of Singapore, Malaysia
and Indonesia. Later, Acme Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1993 and PT
Acme Indonesia in 2006. Acme Industrial Services Sdn Bhd was incorporated in early 2016
to separate the company’s industrial services activities to allow more integrated and focused
approaches.

Acme Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is a well established specialty chemical solution provider
servicing the energy and utility industries. We have established ourselves in both industri-
al and municipal water treatment industries for close to 25 years, and we have been in the
oilfield chemical and related services business for more than 15 years covering exploration,
production and refining activities.

Acme Industrial Services Sdn Bhd began its operation by taking over the chemical service
activities including vessel and piping chemical cleaning and flushing, water treatment and fil-
tration and related services from the parent company. Later the company undertook construc-
tion amd fabrication related services including scaffolding works, paint repair works and minor
fabrications. In 2017 the company set up a painting and blasting, and fabrication yard on PTD
2083, Plot 5, Mukim Pengerang, a 5 acres land with special permit for blasting and painting
yard, 1.7 kilometer from RAPID gate 2. The yard is expected to be fully opereational the end
of June 2017.

Scaffolding
• Scaffolding services for construction, maintenance,
revamp, shutdown and turn around works.
• Scope of works including design, supply, erect, adapt and
dismantle for vessels, towers, flares, reactors, tanks
(external/internal), pipe racks and others.

British Standards.

Fabrication

 Our Manufacturing Capabilities

• Facilities: 45,000 ft2 covered factory space for chemical reaction, blending and
warehousing near Port Klang, Malaysia

• Blending: 1 unit 25 MT stainless steel vessel, 1 unit 12 MT stainless steel vessel with
explosion proof mixer and 2 units of 12 MT stainless steel reaction vessel equipped with
heating and cooling jacket

• Transfer: 6 units 2” air operated diaphragm pumps

• Laboratory: 2,000 ft2 fully equipped drilling mud, acidizing, pre-production, quality
assurance and application testing laboratory
