As an assistant professor at Marian Engineering College, Trivandrum, I am pleased to

write this recommendation letter for my student Nithin Raju, recommending him to
graduate course in mechanical engineering at your university

Having known him for the last 4 year I have instructed him in Thermal Engineering and
Heat and Mass Transfer. In these subjects, Nithin’s performance has been above average.
He has shown great promise by venturing beyond the scope of the subject syllabi.

Nithin exhibits a high degree of initiative in continuously striving to update his

knowledge especially by referring to technical magazines. He ensures that his concepts
are clear and therefore, he is an active participant in classroom. A remarkable feature that
I find in Nithin is that he is very open to suggestions and advice while working in a team.
He is extremely well mannered with his teachers as well as his classmates.

Balancing between his personal and academic activities is one of the significant qualities
of Nithin. He had done his final year project on “Development of experimental model of
a shrouded wind turbine”. At this point of time I found that Nithin handled the task
efficiently while motivating and urging his peers to work together to the best of their
abilities. I have been particularly impressed with the creativity in his ideas.

Being a witness to this kind of dedication I undoubtedly rate his research capabilities as
promising. I am confident that he will continually strive to maintain and improve upon
his grades at your university also. I wish him all the very best in his future endeavors and
