2. Job specific tools must be used to avoid sprain and muscle fatigue.
3. Proper manual material lifting techniques must be used for manual lifting.
4. The maximum manual load lifting capacity for individual must not be exceeded.
1. During rainy season and flood condition avoid electrical works and the use of power tool in
waterlogged areas.
2. During summer season ORS drinks must be provided .
3. All height works and scafolding jobs must be stopped
4. No Lifting of materials at height should be performed.
5. Evacuation of all workers and employees to the emergency assembly point.
1. The working area must be adequately barricaded.
2. Hot Work permit must be taken.
3. The Ground area above which the gas Cutting job is being performed must be wetted by
water.
4. Any electrical lines must be covered with fire blanket.
5. Fire Extinguisher must be installed.
6. Sand Bucket and water bucket must be used.
7. Flash back arrestor must be installed in both LPG & Oxygen cylinders.
8. The Gas Cutting hose must be thoroughly checked with soap water for any leakage.
9. Fire blanket must be used to source arrest the spatters of gas cutting.
10. The Lifted material must be supported by guide rope.
11. Safety belt must be used by all persons working at height and anchoring of safety belt must
be done above shoulder level and the two lanyard must be anchored at two different
supporting structure.
12. All lifting tools and tackles must be thoroughly tested and certified by competent person
and it must be inspected regularly.
13. The F-15 crane must be parked on a level land with the supporting jacks to prevent it from
toppling.
14. The F-15 crane must be tested and certified and periodic maintenance of the crane must be
done.
15. Welding machine must be properly earthed.
16. ELCB must be installed on the welding machine and it must be checked whether it is in
working condition, before using the welding machine.
17. All cables and cable connections must be effectively insulated.
18. Welding glasses, face shield, welding hand gloves, leg sleeve, hand sleeve and FR jackets
