Topic: Family Planning among adults aging 20-40 in a community with high fertility and birth rate
Description: Family planning enables a family to decide the number of children they will have with regards to their
capability to provide for their physical, social, and emotional needs. It also gives couples the freedom to decide when they
to have children using safe and effective methods, that suits best to the couples preferences and is deemed to be best
and appropriate for the mother, child, and the family. The best age for women to get pregnant or childbearing period for
women is between the age 20 and early 30’s. It is beneficial to get pregnant at this age to both the mother and the baby’s
health as chances of having pregnancy complication is lower. In community with high fertility and birth rate rapid increase
of population is often the issue. One of the problems regarding the overpopulation in a community is that there is not
enough resources to support the growth and maintain the health of the growing population. Insufficient financial resources
can also lead to unequal distribution of wealth which can cause for a low quality of life. Family planning is important to
ensure that family in a community can lead a long and quality life.
