LITERACY focus standards MATH focus standards

CCSS: RL1.3 Students will describe We are focusing on counting, the proper use of

Join us this Friday (9/13) at 12:30 pm for
 Parent/Teacher/Student conferences begin this week.
 Remember yellow folders every day.
 Practice reading for 15 minutes each night, and fill-in
star chart in back of yellow folder (write the date and
color a star).
 Practice weekly phonics focus and high frequency words.
This week’s word family is –ot.
 We now have lunch first (10:55), and recess after.
 Butter Braid fundraiser orders are due this Thursday,
9/12. Money raised helps with field trips & technology.
 Monte Vista school t-shirt/hoodie pre-orders and money
are due by Thursday, September 19th.
