I. Semester Outline

1. Word processing software (Ms. Office Word)-

Continue
Clear and organized writing is one of the most important
skills for success in today's world. Word processing
software (office 2003 and 2007) can help students
develop those skills as well as help them with their own
writing needs. It provides an easy way to create
handouts, worksheets, papers, and other printed
documents.

2. Computer, virus and multimedia

Computer has given a lot of benefits to us in doing our
work. However, it has also some weaknesses that we need
to know. Virus for an example is one of the weaknesses
that we need to know how to protect the computer from
the infections. Computer can also amuse us with the
multimedia software for both entertainment and
edutainment.

3. Keyboarding Skills
To improve the keyboarding skill students will
continue typing with ten fingers which help them
type faster.

II. Lesson Objectives

1. Word processing software
Through this course, students will:
- Integrate images and text in ms. Word
software
- Recognize and use the extra icons
- Integrate text, image, table and graphic (chart)

2. Computer, virus and multimedia

Through this course, students will:
- Recognize Computer, Virus and Multimedia.

3. Keyboarding skills
Through this course, students will:
- Recognize and know keyboarding to type with
ten fingers
