SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND HEALTH MONTH CELEBRATION

REACTION PAPER

July 27, 2018 The Science, Technology, and Health celebration was celebrated. It was a
blast, if I have to come up a word to sum it all up it would be Amazing because not only did I
learn a lot, I also had tons of fun and memorable times. We first celebrated it by having our
seminar, during this event I learned that everyday 20 earthquakes are recorded and 4-5 of
them were felt by us people, I also learned that Philippines is prone to dangerous
disaster/natural hazards: earthquake, volcanic eruption, typhoon, etc. During the seminar I
also learned what to do before, during, and after an earthquake I am now prepared, I also
learned what cause an earthquake if I remember correctly its either movement of
magma/eruption has occurred or sudden movement of plate. After the seminar we had our
Zumba, there were dancing and laughing and it was interesting because I saw my
classmate’s hidden talent, it was very healthy and also very energizing, and not only did I
learned how to dance, the Zumba also help me maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory
system. After this we attended the Neurolympics to support our classmates who were in it,
the question was hard in my opinion because I tried to answer it in my notebook, if I were
picked to be the contestant for the Neurolympics I would probably have a hard time
answering it but, that being said I did manage to know the answers for some question First
question, This type of fault is characterized by the downwards slipping of the block of rock
along the dip angle. My answer is A. Normal Fault I know the answer and got it correctly
because Miss Jessie taught it to us in our last meeting Thursday July 26, 2018. The second
question was, a promotion of false or unproven method of profit. My answer is C. Quackery,
My answer is C because Miss Julie taught it to us in our last meeting with her so its still in my
brain fresh. Last but not the least the third question, what is the full form of USB. My answer
was Universal Serial Bus because last year Sir Ronald taught to us it was included in his test
but I got it wrong on his test and now I learned my lessoned so that’s why I answered it and
got it correctly, some questions were a little tough and some are confusing because almost
half of the question was either the topic of this quarter or last year. After the Neurolympics
we head down to attend the chemcantadia, It was so Cool and Mind-Blowing because first
of all I love experiments, especially the experiment they have done like the Burning Money I
first thought that they would actually burn the money but instead it has this cool burning/fire
effect, It was a learning and fun experience. As the day end I have really enjoyed this event,
I learned a lot, I laugh and smile a lot that day. I know others enjoyed it who wouldn’t ? I
never knew learning could be this fun
