TRAJECTORY FINAL PROJECTS/DISSERTATIONS January 2019

Tuesday 8 January 2019, before 12.00:


1. Upload your final report in OnStage and
2. Submit three hard copies of your final report to the Placements and Projects
Office OV 2.49.
3. The hard copies will be stamped after which the student is responsible to deliver
one copy to the supervisor, one to the second reader and one to your assigned
English assessor.
4. In case of an external supervisor and/or an assignment provider, the student
ensures that they receive a (soft) copy as well.

Thursday 24 January 2019


Students are informed by their supervisor and the English lecturer about their results in
OnStage. The following results are possible:
 The students receives a pass for both content and language
 The content is a pass and the language is a conditional pass or a fail.
o The quality of the English requires minor adjustments (conditional pass):
The student is given time to hand in an improved version (deadline below). In
case of a conditional pass for English, the student picks up the hard copy
including the comments of the English lecturer and starts editing
immediately.
o The quality of the English requires major adjustments (fail): the final project
or dissertation needs to be handed in for the next round in which only the
English will be assessed.
 The content is a fail, and therefore the English assessment is not relevant. The final
project needs to be handed in for the next round.

Tuesday 29 January 2019


In case of minor language adjustments, the student hands in the improved hard copy version to
the English lecturer before 09.00 together with the previously handed in hard copy version
including the comments. Additionally, the student adds “re-sit upload final report ENGLISH” to
their OnStage file and uploads the improved version to OnStage.

Friday 1 February 2019


 The English teacher communicates the final result in OnStage.
 The student submits the improved version to the assignment provider in the case of a
final project.
Monday 4 February 2019
All students complete the final steps in OnStage.

This is the last hand-in opportunity to receive a diploma on graduation day on 6 July 2019.

Thursday 23 May 2019, before 12.00:


1. Upload your final report in OnStage and
2. Submit three hard copies of your final report to the Placements and Projects

Please note that the June round is not a re-sit round for May submissions, but an opportunity
for those students who missed the May deadline to graduate in the Academic Year 2018-
2019. Diploma’s will be printed in August.

TRAJECTORY FINAL PROJECTS/DISSERTATIONS August 2019
This is NOT a regular hand-in opportunity but a re-sit round only for students who failed in
the months of May or June. No other submissions will be accepted.

IMPORTANT information regarding registration:


If you plan to make use of the August re-sit opportunity you need to register for the new
academic year 2019-2020. If you receive a passing grade you deregister with DUO before 1
September to avoid paying tuition fees for the next academic year.

In case of a fail and a third reader is appointed your grade will be delayed and you will need
to be registered with the THUAS for another month. If you receive a passing grade you will be
able to deregister as of 1 October. For more detailed information on the (de)registration
process please refer to the information provided by DUO.

Monday 19 August 2019, before 12.00:


1. Upload your final report in OnStage using the RESIT steps and
2. Submit three hard copies of your final report to the Placements and Projects
Office OV 2.49.
3. The hard copies will be stamped after which the student is responsible to deliver
one copy to the supervisor, one to the second reader and one to your assigned
English assessor.
4. In case of an external supervisor and/or an assignment provider, the student
ensures that they receive a (soft) copy as well.

 The English teacher communicates the final result in OnStage.
 The student submits the improved version to the assignment provider in the case of a
final project.

Friday 30 August 2019


All students complete the final steps in OnStage and in case of a passing grade deregisters with
DUO before 1 September to avoid paying tuition fees for the next academic year.

IMPORTANT: This is the last opportunity to hand in your report for a first submission. In case
of a fail, you can hand in your report as a re-sit in January.

Important: this a re-sit round. In case this is your first submission, please note that there is no
re-sit opportunity anymore in case your report is a fail.
