Abstract:- Today computers are used in every field of life. We are totally depending on
usage of computers either by desktop, laptop or smartphones. But the increasing uses of these
computers are also causing environmental problems whether it is in the terms of power
consumption, energy efficiency, disposal of e-waste and many more. Green Computing refers
to the practice of using computing resources in an eco-friendly way. It is the practice of using
energy efficiently so that it causes negligible harm to the environment. Green computing also
aware the people to take necessary steps to create healthier and cleaner environment without
compromising with the technological needs of the people.

Keywords: Green computing, Environment, Efficient Energy.

INTRODUCTION :- WHY GREEN COMPUTING??
