The candidate shall register the application through online and the applicants should
visit the TFC‘s for certificates verification on the specified date and time. The
counselling (including special reservation categories) for first year B.Arch. degree
course will be held in person at Central Polytechnic College (CPT), Taramani,
Chennai - 600 113.
Applicants must ensure that activities like application registration and making
payment are performed at the official TNEA Web Portals (https://tneaonline.in or
https://www.tndte.gov.in) only.

ADMISSIONS TO FIRST YEAR B. Arch. DEGREE COURSE
Information and Instructions to Candidates
Common Registration of Application to seek admission to University Department of Anna University, Government
Aided Engineering College and for the seats surrendered by the Self – Financing Engineering Colleges under the
unified Single Window Admission System for INDIAN NATIONALS.
As a prerequisite for selection to B. Arch. Degree course the candidates should have qualified the
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2019) conducted by the Council of Architecture, New
Delhi with validity as per the Council of Architecture norms.
A Candidate needs to register only one application for all the Colleges / Institutions mentioned above.
Candidates seeking admission under special reservation should also give their option for Special Reservation category
at the time of registration. The Special Reservation categories are given in Section 5.1 & 5.2 on pages 4 to 6.
2. Duration of the Programme
Five Academic Years comprising 10 Semesters.
3. ELIGIBILITY RULES
Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on the last date prescribed for registration of online
application are eligible to apply. Passing the qualifying examination after the last date of registration of online
application shall not be considered.
Nativity of Tamil Nadu
i) Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu are
eligible to apply. They need not produce Nativity Certificate for verification.
ii) Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. or their equivalent
examination from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Nativity
Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate issued by the Government of Tamil
Nadu at the time of original certificates verification at TNEA Facilitation Centre (TFC).
iii) Children of Central Government Employees may also apply for admission, irrespective of their native, provided
their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously
for the past FIVE YEARS at the time of submission of application. This should be supported by producing a
certificate from the employer of the parent or guardian, to that effect at the time of original certificates
verification at TFC.
iv) Children of employees in Public Sector or Government recognised Institutions who at the time of submission
of application for admission employed in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years may also apply
irrespective of their domicile. A certificate from the employer stating that the person is a Permanent Employee
of the Firm or Institution concerned with evidence like Income Tax return, PF Slips, etc. and is working in
Tamil Nadu continuously for the past FIVE YEARS has to be produced at the time of original certificates
verification at TFC.
v) Sons and daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from
the parent in this regard is to be produced at the time of original certificates verification.
vi) Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They
need not produce ―Nativity Certificate‖.

Note:
1. Applications without proper Nativity Certificate of Tamil Nadu for Category (ii) without proper
employer certificate for categories (iii) and (iv) & without self-declaration from the
parent for category (v) will not be considered.
2. Category (vi) need not produce employer certificate / nativity certificate of Tamil Nadu.
3. Categories from (iii) to (vi) will be considered under ―Open Competition‖.
As per G.O. (St) No. 172 Higher Education (J2) Dept. dated: 29.06.2010 candidates who are Srilankan Tamil Refugee
studied in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition. They have to produce the following at the time of
original certificates verification at TFC:
b) Diploma
Candidates who have passed 10+3 years Diploma (any stream) Examination recognized by Central / State
Governments with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
Candidates who have passed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with Mathematics
as a compulsory subject

Note:
1. When the candidates produce grade certificates, they have to produce the actual marks also otherwise, only the
minimum marks applicable to the grades in the eligible subjects will be taken into account.
2. For the purpose of calculation of marks for eligibility in respect of sandwich Diploma candidates, the marks of all
the other semesters in which there is no industrial training shall be considered.
3. For minimum eligibility, rounding of marks and normalized marks will not be considered.
Improvement Marks: As per the G.O. No. 184 HE (J2) Dept. dt: 09.06.2005 and G.O. (st) No. 143 HE (J2)
Dept. dt: 06.05.2008 improvement marks obtained by the candidates including Other State candidates from 2006
onwards will not be considered.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
NATA 2019 : The candidates should have obtained marks greater than or equal to the qualifying marks
(70 out of 200) prescribed in NATA 2019 score card. However, candidates must also secured a minimum of 30 in
Maths and General Aptitude and 20 in drawing in addition to scoring 70 marks in aggregate to be declared as
qualified.
4. ALLOCATION OF SEATS
Selection shall be available under seven categories namely Open Competition, Backward Class, Backward Class
(Muslim), Most Backward Class & Denotified Class, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste Arunthathiyars and Scheduled
Tribe following the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu as follows.

4.2 (a) Tamil Nadu native candidates alone will be considered for communal reservation. The community recorded in
the certificate of Tamil Nadu candidate should appear in the list of communities approved by the Government of Tamil
Nadu (Annexure – I on Page Nos. 24 – 30).
4.2 (b) The applicants from Tamil Nadu State should have obtained permanent community certificate (for SC / SCA/
ST/MBC & DNC, BC and BC Muslim candidates) either in permanent card format / electronic form / digitally
signed e-Certificate issued by Govt. of Tamil Nadu only from the authorities given below on or before the last
date prescribed for registration of online application. Community Certificate obtained after the last date prescribed for
registration of online application will not be considered.

4.2 (c) Community Certificate obtained from Other States will not be considered for communal reservation.
4.2 (d) For communities linked with Districts (See Annexure-l) the candidates should obtain their community
certificate in the respective districts except the communities mentioned in the G.O. (st) No. 95 BC, MBC & Minorities
Welfare Department dt: 28.10.2009. Such of those community certificates obtained on or after 28.10.2009 will be
considered. Community certificate obtained from other than the respective district will not be considered.
4.2 (e) Candidates who have not produced the Permanent Community [Card] Certificate or electronic
form / digitally signed e-Certificate at the time of original certificates verification at TFC their
application will be treated under “Open Competition” (OC) Category only.
The candidate is further informed that in the event of such a decision, the eligibility conditions & rules prescribed for
OC Category will be applicable for such candidates and if such candidates do not satisfy the rules of ‗OC Category‘
their applications are liable to be rejected. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
4.2 (f) ST / SC/ SCA / MBC & DNC / BC / BCM (BC Muslim) candidates are eligible for selection under Open
Competition in addition to the reservations made for them.
5. Special Reservation
The special reservation categories and the quota for these categories are given in the Table. Since the special
reservation applications are processed by separate committees, candidates should also pay Rs. 100/- for each special
reservation category at the time of Registration. Candidates are instructed to produce appropriate certificates and
supporting documents for special reservation claim at the time of Original Certificates Verification at TFCs. If
appropriate certificates and documents are not produced, their claim under such categories will not be considered.
Only Tamil Nadu Native candidates are eligible for Special reservation.

(i) Candidates claiming admission against the reservation of seats under Son‘s / Daughter‘s of Ex-
Servicemen Category (Item No. 1) should produce the certificate in the format (Certificate No. III) from an officer of
the Department of Ex-servicemen‘s Welfare of Tamil Nadu not below the rank of Assistant Director of Ex- servicemen‘s
Welfare of the district in which the dependent is a native. Candidates called for Certificates Verification should
also produce discharge certificates and Ex-Servicemen ID card of their parent.
(ii) Candidates seeking admission against reservation set apart for Visually Impaired, Hearing impaired (Deaf),
orthopaedically Differently Abled Persons, Autism, Multiple disabilities (Item Nos. 2a to 2e) should produce the
certificate from the Medical Board (minimum 3 doctors) of the District concerned certifying the nature and
extent of disability in percentage and with regard to his/her suitability for admission to Engineering Colleges
specifically mentioned under 5.2 and in the format (Certificate No. IV/V/VI/VII/VIII). Certificates obtained from an
individual Doctor will not be considered. Further, a separate medical Board for each category will examine
the candidates with reference to their certificates, at the time of Original Certificates Verification at TFC.
(iii) Candidates seeking admission against special reservation of seats under Eminent Sports Persons category
(Item No. 3) should produce their original sports certificates along with appropriate forms as given in Annexure II at
the time of Original Certificates Verification at TFC at Central Polytechnic College (CPT), Taramani, Chennai - 600 113
only.
(iv) Candidates seeking admission against seats under Special reservation categories (Item No. 1 to 3) should also
satisfy the eligibility rules mentioned in Item No. 3. The candidates are also eligible for admission under
general counselling.
2. "Low-vision" means a condition where a person has any of the following conditions, namely:—
(i) visual acuity not exceeding 6/18 or less than 20/60 up to 3/60 or up to 10/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with
best possible corrections; or
(ii) limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of less than 40 degree up to 10 degree.

6. "Acid attack victims" means a person disfigured due to violent assaults by throwing of acid or similar corrosive
substance.

6. MODE OF SELECTION
(a) (i) ADMISSION TO GENERAL CATEGORY
The ranking of candidates for the seats will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and
also in the NATA 2019 conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. Those who have not appeared and not
qualified in the NATA 2019 are not eligible for admission to B. Arch. Degree Course.
HSC Academic/Diploma/Equivalent
The maximum marks for the Aptitude Test (NATA 2019) for both academic and diploma candidates is 200. The total
academic marks for H.Sc. candidates will be reduced to 200. The diploma marks in all the Semesters put together will
be reduced to 200. Ranking of the candidates will be based on the total marks of 400 (NATA mark 200 and Academic
mark 200).
A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks of 400. In cases where more than one candidate have got the
same marks in the common merit list, the inter-se-merit among such candidates shall be determined in the order of
priority as specified below:-
(1) Academic Aggregate for 200 (2) Date of Birth (elder will be given preference) (3) Random number assigned
(higher value will be given preference).
The overall rank and Community-wise rank list will be published in website, https://tneaonline.in or
https://www.tndte.gov.in Separate announcement will not be given in Newspapers. The college will be
provisionally allotted only through counselling, as per their choice.
Certificate obtained from Head Quarters Deputy Tahsildar in the format prescribed in G.O. Electronic
form/digitally signed e-Certificate only will be accepted which necessarily should include name of applicant‘s
father, mother, father‘s father, father‘s mother, mother‘s father, mother‘s mother, brother (s) and sister (s) and joint
declaration by himself and parent/guardian in the prescribed format.
If the applicant’s Brother or Sister has already availed First Graduate Tuition Fee concession for
studying Professional Courses, then the applicant is not eligible for such concession.
In the G.O. (st) No. 6 Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (AD3) Department dated 09.01.2012, G.O. (st) No. 92 Adi
Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (AD3) Department dated 11.09.2012 and G.O. (st) No. 16 Adi Dravidar and Tribal
Welfare (AD3) Department dated 24.02.2014, the Government have ordered to grant Post Matric Scholarship to
SC/SCA/ST candidates and for SC/SCA converted Christians, whose parental annual income is less than Rs.
2,50,000/- from all the sources shall only be eligible. The eligible candidates have to submit income certificate
obtained from appropriate authorities and get the Post Matric Scholarship from the colleges where they get admitted.

8. PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION OF APPLICATION FORM
A Candidate seeking admission to first year B.Arch. degree course under unified Single Window Admission System
[TNEA 2019] should register his / her candidature online in Web Portal https://tneaonline.in or
https://www.tndte.gov.in from anywhere. For the convenience of candidates TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFC)
have been established in selected cities. Candidates can use the facilities available in TFCs. The candidate who
satisfies the eligibility conditions as given in Section 3 of Information and Instructions to Candidates, has to register
his/her name by providing a username and password. The candidate has to remember his/her username and
password for further login and fill-up the application. The candidates must be ready with details such as
The candidate has to fill up the details in the application form. The candidate can give their preference of TFC for
Certificates Verification. If a particular TFC is overloaded the nearest TFC will be allotted. The entered details can be
viewed using the login information. The applicant can edit his/her information if necessary. Verify the entries made
and if all the details are found correct then submit the on-line application on or before the last date. Applicants will
be provided with a PDF document on successful registration of application through TNEA Application Processing
System. The applicants should take a printout of the same and has to be submitted with recent passport
size photo affixed at the place printed during original Certificates Verification at the TFC on the
specified date. An E-call letter which contains the date, time and address of the TFC for original Certificates
Verification will be generated and shall be made available in TNEA portal. An E-mail and SMS will also be sent to the
registered candidate.

9. Original Certificates Verification at TNEA Facilitation Centre (TFC)
The registered candidates will be informed about their original certificates verification date, time and venue (Name of
the TFC). The candidate has to report to the TNEA Facilitation Centre on the date and time noted in their e-call letter
for original certificates verification along with the signed copy of the registered application with a photo
affixed on it. (PDF obtained after successful registration of application) along with the following
original certificates and their photocopies for certificates verification:

If any of certificates not produced for verification, their rank will not be published.
* The original certificates verification for candidates who applied for seats under Eminent sports
persons category will be only at the TFC - Central Polytechnic College (CPT), Taramani, Chennai - 600

If a candidate has deposited all the certificates in an institution where he/she has already been admitted, a letter
from the Head of the institution should be produced to that effect. In such case only, attested photocopies of
certificates from the Head of the institution will be accepted for verification. However, the provisional allotment order
will be withheld and it will be released only on production of all the original certificates.
Eligible candidates who have applied may appear for counselling according to their cut-off mark, two hours
before their counselling session along with their original certificates for verification.
The date, time and venue for counselling will be intimated to the candidates in TNEA Web Portal. Candidates
shall download their call letter from TNEA web portal. Change of date/time of counselling is not permissible.
Candidates who do not attend the counselling may have to forego the claim for admission.
Due to unforeseen and unavoidable reasons, if a candidate is unable to attend the counselling on the specified
date and time, he/she can authorise his/her parent on his/her behalf and the parent‘s decision will be binding on the
candidate.
If the ranking of candidate is changed due to re-totalling/revaluation mark, he/she can attend counselling as
per the new mark and rank, though the call letter specifies different time (as per original mark).
Once allotted a seat the amount, ` 5,000/- (` 1000/- in case of SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamil
Nadu) already paid at the time of counselling will be adjusted towards the tuition fee. If the candidate does not
join after allotment and seeks refund, only 80 % of the initial deposit amount paid at the time of
counselling will be refunded, if original allotment order with acknowledgement for the receipt of
payment is surrendered on or before 31.12.2019. The refund will be processed only through TNEA 2019
refund processing system available online in TNEA Web Portal. All admissions made through single window system
are provisional.
The candidates are informed that the Hall Ticket of the Aptitude Test should be preserved and produced to the
Dean, Anna University, Chennai / Principal of the College, where the candidate is allotted, at the time of admission.
Failure to submit the above will result in cancellation of admission.
The candidates have to join the colleges to which they are allotted within the time notified in the Provisional
Allotment Order failing which the seats will be deemed to have fallen vacant. Request for reconsideration of
admission shall not be entertained.
Detailed information regarding the courses and other facilities are available as received from the colleges
concerned in the booklet containing ‗Information about colleges available in https://tneaonline.in or
https://www.tndte.gov.in Other details like Scholarship, Fee Concession, Hostel Facilities, Examinations etc., can
be obtained from the Principal / Deans of the Institutions.
Selected candidates and their parents/ guardians will have to sign a joint declaration form (Page No.38.) and
submit to the college at the time of admission.
Candidates should ensure that correct marks are furnished by him/her in the online application. If it is found
that the marks furnished in the application are not correct, then he/she will forfeit the admission at any stage of
study.
The candidates are informed that admission through counselling is only provisional. In
accordance with the rules prescribed for admission, if they are found ineligible on actual verification of
original certificates / particulars by the principal / Directorate of Technical Education / University, they
cannot claim any right for admission or continuation of study at any stage they may be.
Further, the confirmation of Admission is subject to verification of marks / certificates with the Director of
Government Examinations. If the mark sheet is found to be BOGUS
(i) Admission is liable for cancellation at any stage of study
(ii) He / she will be debarred from pursuing any course of study for a period of 3 years
(iii) Legal action will be taken for furnishing forged marks.

Candidates allotted during counselling will be given the provisional allotment order and a receipt for ` 5000/-
(or ` 1000/- in the case of SC/ SCA /ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu). The remaining tuition fee has to be
paid in the designated banks/colleges before the dates specified in the provisional allotment order. If a candidate
fails to report for admission on or before the date indicated in the provisional allotment order he/she
has to forfeit the seat and cannot claim later and the provisional allotment order will be automatically
cancelled.
Selection of the college of study is the sole responsibility of the candidate.
The intake in the colleges given in ―Information about Colleges‖ booklet may have variations. The intake for
approved branches will be available in the Counselling Centre or in Anna University Web Portal
https://tneaonline.in or https://www.tndte.gov.in.

DEFINITIONS
―Ex-Serviceman‖ is a person who has served in any rank (whether as a combatant or as non combatant ) in the
Armed Forces of the Union, including the Armed Forces of the Former Indian States (but excluding the Assam
Rifles, Defence Security Corps, General Reserve Engineering Force, Lok Sahayak Sena and Territorial Army) for
a continuous period of not less than six months after attestation and has been released, otherwise than at his
own request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, or has been
transferred to the reserve pending such release, or has to serve for not more than six months for completing
the period of service requisite for becoming entitled to be released or transferred to the reserve or, has been
released at his own request after completing Five Years‘ Service in the Armed Forces of the Union.

Note 1: The term ―released‖ would cover those Armed Forces Personnel who died while in service or were killed in

Locomotor disability (a person's inability to execute distinctive activities associated with movement of self and
objects resulting from affliction of musculoskeletal or nervous system or both).
(i) Independent in ambulance with or without calipers but without walking aids. (ii) Good Standing Balance without

“Leprosy cured person" means a person who has been cured of leprosy but is suffering from—
(i) loss of sensation in hands or feet as well as loss of sensation and paresis in the eye and eye-lid but with no
manifest deformity;
(ii) manifest deformity and paresis but having sufficient mobility in their hands and feet to enable them to engage
in normal economic activity;
(iii) extreme physical deformity as well as advanced age which prevents him/her from undertaking any gainful
occupation, and the expression "leprosy cured" shall be construed accordingly;
"Cerebral palsy" means a Group of non-progressive neurological condition affecting body movements and muscle
coordination, caused by damage to one or more specific areas of the brain, usually occurring before, during or
shortly after birth;
"Dwarfism" means a medical or genetic condition resulting in an adult height of 4 feet 10 inches
(147 centimeters) or less;
"Muscular dystrophy" means a group of hereditary genetic muscle disease that weakens the muscles that move
the human body and persons with multiple dystrophy have incorrect and missing information in their genes, which
prevents them from making the proteins they need for healthy muscles. It is characterised by progressive skeletal
muscle weakness, defects in muscle proteins, and the death of muscle cells and tissue;
"Acid attack victims" means a person disfigured due to violent assaults by throwing of acid or similar corrosive
substance.

ALLOTMENT OF SEATS FOR CANDIDATES UNDER QUOTA FOR EMINENT SPORTS PERSONS
1. The purpose of this quota is to recognise and give weightage to the sports eminence of the candidates and
hence marks for sports achievements alone will be considered in ranking the candidates. The candidates are
expected to continue their good performance in sports, even after admission.
2. The candidate shall submit all the sports certificates along with participation certificates and relevant
forms issued by Association / Federation concerned, but only one highest achievement in a tournament
(among the International, National, State, Divisional and District) in an academic year in the sports disciplines
listed in Table VIII will be considered for awarding marks.
3. Selection of the candidate will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate strictly following the
guidelines, given in the tables.

5. General Conditions
1. For consideration of candidates seeking admission under the category of eminent sports person, he / she
should enclose all the attested photocopies of participation certificates and the relevant forms issued by
the competent sports authorities.
2. Participation / achievements in each academic year from 01.06.2015 to last date of submission of
application (01.06.2015 to 31.05.2016, 01.06.2016 to 31.05.2017, 01.06.2017 to 31.05.2018 and
01.06.2018 to last date of submission of application) in sports / games shown in the list alone will be
considered for the award of marks. National or State Level Championships or Tournaments conducted by
Sports Federations or Associations recognised by MYAS or IOA or SDAT or TNOA alone will be considered
for the award of marks. (Recognition of State Associations / National Federations should be relevant to
the year concerned).
3. Relevant attested copies of certificates issued by the competent authorities as detailed below are to be
submitted along with the application before the last date for receiving the applications.

4. These Certificates are not valid unless signed personally in ink by the authorities mentioned above.
5. Open or Invitational or Memorial or any indifferent nomenclature or title of tournaments or Championships at
District or State or National or International level will not be considered for marks.
6. District or Inter-District Championship means the championships conducted by the respective recognised District
or State Sports Association for a Revenue District or Revenue Districts in the State of Tamil Nadu.
7. Direct participation or achievement at any level without participating in the qualifying level competitions such as
District or State or National or direct selection conducted by District or State Sports Association or National
Sports Federation to represent the District or State or National or International tournaments or championships
will not be considered for award of marks.
8. For International achievements in Tennis, marks for Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded to players who are
ranked first, second and third respectively in the ATP or WTA rankings of International Tennis Federation for
awarding participation marks for the top 5 ranked players will be considered from the ATP or WTA list published
by the International Tennis Federation. Necessary document and proof should be enclosed by the candidate.
For National or State level achievement in Tennis, marks for Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded to players
who are ranked first, second and third respectively in the AITA or TNTA at National or State. For awarding
participation mark the top 5 ranked players will be considered from the list published by AITA or TNTA at
National or State level based on the ranking. Necessary document and proof should be enclosed by the
candidate.
9. Certificates should be in printed form and necessary Form – I and II should be in prescribed
format. (Certificates or forms issued in letter pads will be invalid).
10. All other sport disciplines in which ranking is the criteria for assessment of achievement, rules indicated in item 8
above will be applicable for the award of marks.
11. For Cricket, the annual official Championships or tournaments conducted within the country under the auspices
of TNCA or BCCI at District or State or National Level alone will be taken into consideration for that year.
12. Multiple events in a particular sport must be standardised events and in accordance with the events organised by

the approved International Federations. Events newly created and not in accordance with the requirement will
not be considered for award of marks.
13. Participation or achievements of candidates with nativity of Tamil Nadu who represented Tamil
Nadu alone are eligible for marks under National Category.
14. Only Tamil Nadu candidates are eligible to apply for admission under Sports Quota and only the
KVS and CBSE schools within Tamil Nadu are eligible for marks.
15. A Common Committee for Engineering and Medicine constituted for this purpose will rank the candidates based
on the marks assigned to the certificates enclosed along with the application. Candidates with a minimum sports
mark of 5 and above alone will be considered for ranking.
16. All the achievement certificates are to be supported necessarily by the relevant participation
certificates and appropriate forms.
17. No further enclosures or certificates will be entertained after the last date for submission of
completed application, in person.
18. Highest achievement or participation certificates obtained by candidate at different levels such as District or
State or National or International in each year along with earlier achievements should be enclosed without fail.
(A candidate shall enclose copy of all eligible certificates for scrutiny).
19. Candidates in proportion to the available seats will be called to appear before the Common Committee for
Engineering or Medicine for verification of the Originals, followed by counselling after ranking.
20. If any candidate fails to produce the requisite Original Certificates or Forms, his / her place will be allotted to the
candidate next in rank and so on. The consequential vacancy at the end of the rank list will be filled up from
among the additional candidates according to their ranks.
21. All the highest level of participation or achievement should be supported by earlier achievements at all levels of
competition.
22. Short listed candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank and branches and colleges will be
allotted according to their choices from the number of seats reserved under sports quota based. Sports quota
counselling will be held before the commencement of general counselling.
23. Candidates securing admissions under Eminent Sports Persons quota should sign an undertaking at the time of
receiving allotment order assuring participation in sports activities in the college preferred by them.
24. Legal action would be taken on parents and candidates for furnishing bogus documents. They should ensure
that the certificates obtained are from competent authorities.
25. A candidate can utilise the Sports Quota only once for Engineering or Medicine.

JOINT DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE AND PARENT / GUARDIAN
1. That the Statements made and information furnished in my son‘s / daughter‘s / ward‘s application and also
in all the enclosures there to submitted by him/her are true. Should it however be found that any
information furnished therein is untrue in material particulars, I realise that I am liable to criminal
prosecution and I also agree to the forfeiture of his/her seat in the Institution.
2. That my son / daughter / ward would confirm strictly to all the rules and regulations in force now or which
may be introduced in the Institution hereafter and that I realise that breach of discipline and rules on my
son‘s/daughter‘s/Ward‘s part would entail summarily forfeiture of his/her seat in the institution.
3. That I am aware that if my son /daughter / ward does not put in a minimum percentage of attendance
prescribed by the University during the year in theory, drawing and practical classes separately, my son
