THE HOLISTIC ENTERPRISE MODEL
HISTORY

1945: Danish context - B. J. Rambøll and J. G. Hannemann founded the company. Their
strong attitudes about how to do business was reflected in their actions

1986: Danish context - B. J. Rambøll writes the Philosophy and seven point sum up:
• Satisfied employees • Full commitment to the task of providing consultancy
• Decentralised management • Extensive delegation of competence
• Quality rather than quantity • Openness and trust in all cooperation
• Financial stability and consolidation
 The Philosophy formed the heart of Ramboll values in connection with the words:
• Commitment • Innovation • Business ability • Cooperation

2003: Nordic context - Merger with Scandia Consult and formation of Ramboll Group A/S
result in in new wording of the values:
• Trust • Commitment • Innovation • Quality • Empowerment

2008: International context – Extensive growth and brand development process  new
wording reflecting the legacy and international vision of Ramboll.
