“HELEN OF TROY”
The Trojan War is one of the most famous wars ever in our history. However,
historians argue if such a war even took place. The city of Troy has been a mystery throughout
history, doubts exist whether or not this site of Troy is the real city that participated in this war
that has now gained a legendary reputation .With its beautiful actors, breathtaking scenery and
costumes, the movie Troy is a movie for Hollywood that is sure to be a box office hit. These two
have this conflict because Paris ,Prince of Troy fell in love with Helen ,wife of Menelaus who is
Agamemnon’s brother and king of Sparta ,and took her back to troy against the wishes of his
brother ,Hector who, with his father ,had been trying for years to make peace with Sparta and
had finally gotten that peace .Agamemnon had recently united all of the Greek city states and
wanted to take over troy too, so this conflict over Helen was his perfect opportunity. It is a movie
of love and revenge.

because the sound effect is too scary and mysterious tone then in beginning the scene is have a

the first place reader or viewers want to witness if what happened why place of Troy is very big
deal of the two side .And why Helen is the most awaiting scene in this movie? Why is it because
she is the cause and very hateful character in these movie? .Helen of Troy captivates audiences,
but perhaps she has never enraptured any audience more than her original one. For the characters
of Helen in ancient works it is complicated and diverse because we don’t know if what she is in
this story? It is difficult to come to a fast and hard conclusion on the attitudes that ancient authors
held toward her .If she is supposed to be a warning or a victim? An Agent or a prisoner? A
whore or a hero? This Story film Helen makes for a complex, and sometimes contradictory,
painting of the woman heart of the Trojan War. She can be blameless, and have understood the
consequences of being in troy, but have no agency at all. Interplay of this set of characteristics is
constantly taut with question and contradictions about the kind of character that Helen truly is

Argonaut, the Theban wars, and the Caledonian boar hunt. It is as though this event was in the
destiny of every dynasty formed from the beginning of things. And according to Jean-Louis
Backés. We have little reason to doubt it, but we have little more to believe that it was the
greatest conflict ever to have occurred. The Greeks however, thought that it was: before telling
the story of the Peloponnesian War the historian Thucydides felt the need to establish a parallel
between it and the Trojan War to emphasize the importance of his subject. With the passage of
time these heroic exploits had entered the realm of legend, people were convinced that the gods
had taken part, and history became myth. The Trojan War glows with a dark fire at the dawn of
time as the unsurpassable model for all the wars that were to come.

Helen of troy is one awaited film movie of our generation before because this
film shows us the happening of the Greece war about the took of place of Troy. The movie of
Helen of Troy shows the importance details before and inside the book Iliad. This film movie
helps the readers to understand this book .Also , it shows how the Trojan war started and how
Troy has fallen .The movie only shows the important details and the book ,and changes the flow
of the story to make it more beautiful and appropriate for the theme. After viewing the movie,
there are lot of differences between the book Iliad and the movie Helen of Troy.
The summary of the film is. Legendary Greek warriors storm the walls of Troy to plunder the
ancient city and retrieve their kidnapped queen. Meanwhile, a shepherd falls for the most
beautiful woman in the world. The film involves the story of Helen, the most beautiful woman in
the world, being married to Menelaus in a land called Sparta. When Prince Paris comes to seek
peace with Sparta, Helen falls madly in love with him and follows him to Troy. When he
recovers, he believes that she is a slave and they fall in love with each other. When he arrives at
the Spartan palace, he is arrested by King Menelaus but Helen helps him to escape. They travel
together to Troy and give the excuse the Greeks need to start the war and put Troy under siege
for years.
The plot of the movie is. It begins with the birth of Paris, as well as Cassandra's prophecy that he
would be the cause of Troy's destruction. Worried, his father, king Priam leaves him on Mount
Ida, where he is found and raised by the shepherd Agelaus. When he is an adult, Paris goes of on
a friendly fight with some other shepherds. One of them would kid around telling him about his
goat named Stubos that got away again and he chases it to a cave where the goddesses Hera,
Athena, and Aphrodite appear. Hera offered him power while Athena offers her victory yet he
chooses Aphrodite, who promises him the love of the most beautiful woman in the world. For me
the 5 events of the Helen of Troy except ending is first when prince Paris and his brother go to
the Sparta .During of welcoming them of Agamemnon Prince Paris was go to and make love
with Helen then Paris decided that go with Helen and Bring Helen to the Troy that’s the time
Helen called “Helen of Troy” while that time Agamemnon got angry because of this then he
convinced his brother and side of Odysseus to go to Troy and make a fight because Prince Paris
and Helen Done. Second when Agamemnon plan to kill Helen and Prince Paris by his Hand
because of their done with him. Because Agamemnon thought that Helen and Prince Paris are
traitor of his. And the Third One event is when the fight begin and so many people dying
because of the fighting and Archilles were the first get this fight scene. The fourth one is when
Prince Paris give challenge to Agamemnon to fight him then who is win can Helen back home
but if who are the loser want to burn in the night fall. And then Agamemnon take this challenges
because he wants to kill Paris while Helen watching them fighting on top of the castle of Troy.
But during their fighting Prince Paris was left then Agamemnon try to kill him but Prince Hector
First attack him by his sword then Agamemnon is going to death, because of that the fight is
begin of the sides of brother Menelaus and the Trojan warriors is win lead of Prince Hector. And
the fifth and last event I discuss is when Prince Hector killed Patroclus the cousin of Archilles,
Because of Patroclus copied Archilles move he suffer of death because of Hector get him throats.
Then Archilles was getting angry and want see death Hector also by his hand and he was
succeed. For my own that’s the 5 events I seen in the film movie.
