JC Cepeda is an established Colombian artist

with more than 20 years of history creating
art works from different styles and selling art
to private collectors in his own gallery in the
city of Pereira, Colombia. Specialized in
representing powerful portraits from his own
style.

The latest series of works by JC Cepeda is inspired by the impact his passage through the Amazon jungle
generated, where he shared with a native tribe with little contact with the outside world. This series of
portraits reflects indigenous communities who call themselves untouchables, but who are unconsciously
influenced by Western social predominance.

Few Latin American artists manage to achieve the versatility and mastery of different artistic movements,
always looking for new pictorial worlds, where skills and mastery in drawing and handling colors and shapes are
evident. His work is inspired by culture and social reality.

In the last 20 years JC Cepeda has had its own art gallery in Colombia, supporting social causes of all kinds,
considering itself as a poet in love and sensitive to the needy and dedicating many of his artistic works to
charitable missions.

Thanks to his incredible creations and persistence in his work as an artist and businessman, his work has
been exhibited around the world in places like Germany, Singapore, Spain, England, United States and
multiple countries in South America.

BIOGRAPHY
With only 5 years old he began to shine in the art
world with the support of his family. He participated
for the first time in a drawing contest for children in
the city of Pereira and won in the first place,
awakening his passion for art and curiosity of a world
of fantasies, which helped him overcome difficult
moments and shortages, but always with the tireless
support of his mother Lucia, faith in God and with the
help of his father's hard work. This helped him to
form the man and the artist who is today capable of
creating an art in a unique way.

When he was 15 years old he traveled to Bogota-

Colombia, where his father enlisted him in different
workshops that enriched him artistically.

BIOGRAPHY
At the age of 25, he consolidated himself as
one of the youngest and most versatile artists
in the region and the rest of the country, his
works have been exhibited and bought
throughout the Colombian territory.

JC Cepeda has perfected his skills and

techniques that are today the reflection of his
work. His art work includes various artistic
movements such as expressionism, cubism,
hyperrealism, costumbrism, figurative art
among others, that won the admiration of his
audience.
