NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDANCE

(GRADE 7-DECARTES)

In the month of July as I have observed my advisory in their punctuality and attendance, I have
seen the substandard performance of each students from the class. Most of them comes to school
on time. 6:45 am students should proceed to the school ground to attend the flag ceremony. At
7:15 am, classes should start. Students who will come later than 7:15 will be considered as late.
For the students that did not attend will not be excused from the class if he/she did not present an
excuse letter.

Two students from my advisory class was been absent for almost a week. Kenji Relator and
Johann Krissanta Pereira are not showing in my class this past few days. Though last week the
mother of Relator informed me that he’s son was not feeling well because he has a problem in his
left ear and he’s suffering from pain. I have excused his son for 1 week but since then I did not
receive any update from his son. On the other hand, Pereira is not showing up from my class and
there is no any excuse letter from her to know the reason of her absence. In action for this matter,
I am trying to contact the parents of these two students to call their attention about their child.

The total average of student’s attendance from one month is 72.5% while 28% from the absentees
are been excused. This result is really unsatisfactory. And as an adviser of this class I am planning
to ponder of strategies to diminish the number of absentees from my class.
