I. COURSE OBJECTIVE

At the end of the course, the students should be able to develop the students’ communicative
competence through the understanding of British-American Literature, including Philippine Literature and other
text types for a deeper appreciation of their culture and those of other countries; increase their understanding of
how Anglo- American literature serves as a means of enhancing the self by using strategies in summarizing,
assessing, and processing information in texts listened to and viewed; word derivation and formation strategies;
distinctions between and among informative, journalistic, and literary writing; and appropriate and creative use of
word order, punctuation marks, and interjections; develop the students’ understanding of how Anglo- American
literature serves as a means of valuing other people through using various types of print media and linear/
nonlinear texts; strategies in processing information connections in listening and viewing materials;
communicative styles; and adverbs and conditionals in narration and argumentation.

I. OBJECTIVE

I. OBJECTIVE

Sa dulo ng kursong ito, ang mga mag-aaral ay matutunan mabigyang-linaw kung bakit mahalagang pag-
aralan ang Asya sa pananaw mismo ng mg Asyano; Matutukoy sa yunit ang mga likas na yaman ng Asya.
Mapagtatanto na mahalagang malaman ang kahalagahan ng mga likas na yaman ng Asya bilang kaagapay sa pag-
