How are the courses different from other stuff available on the web?
We have created the courses as a completely practical set of videos, applying most concepts you read in textbooks to Indian
companies. So everything we read or do will be with a live company. Concepts discussed in the courses are rarely available in
books, since these are more real life applications, and more so in the Indian context. The courses enable the participant to go
ahead and analyze the most practical aspects of the topics covered. So basically the courses prepare you for the questions your
are likely to face in the interviews. Not too many courses on the web guide you in this format.
Do the courses take care of the fact that someone may have no background in finance?
Yes, they do. Courses have been created keeping in mind this, and do not really look at financial statements from an accounting
viewpoint. So rest assured, that point is covered. We will take care of any issues if anyone faces that.
How many hours shall be devoted daily to complete this course, if one wants to finish it in 10-15 days?
The course has video content of 8 hours. We assume you will need to watcht that twice. In addition, there would be a project,
which may take 5 to 8 hours. So a total of 25 hours of effort is needed. A couple of hours a day should suffice. Of course, financial
analysis can be deeper, so if you want to try your hands analyzing another company, would be glad to help there.
What if I only complete the test and do not submit the project?
You still get the Certification, provided you have cleared it. However, the project is an evaluation in the FinShiksha pan India
competition that follows in August and September. For you to participate in that, the project has to be submitted. We strongly
recommend you to finish the project, so that the learning in the course is complete. This is also a guided project, so if you get
stuck anywhere, we will help you in that.
