PG ADMISSION GUIDELINES

NOTE: STUDENTS PURSUING FINAL YEAR UNDERGRADUATION OR AWAITING


RESULTS CAN APPLY FOR PG PROGRAMMES BY UPLOADING MARKS OF
PREVIOUS FIVE SEMESTERS.

1. Required information in the form should be entered completely. Candidates claiming seats
under Reservation should enclose appropriate and valid certificates.
2. Applications incomplete in any form and with false information will automatically become
invalid.
3. As per its tradition and policy the college does not accept Capitation fee or
Donations for seats.

4. The Management does not entertain recommendations for Admission. For any information
kindly contact the college office directly.
5. A soft copy of the applicant’s recent passport size photo and signature to be uploaded with
the application (less than 100KB).
6. Documents to be submitted at the time of admission.
a. Marks Card - 2 copies (Last Five or All Semesters)
b. Transfer or Leaving Certificate
c. Migration Certificate (in case of students from other University)
d. Latest Income Certificate (wherever applicable)
e. Community and Caste Certificate
f. Baptism and Recent Certificate from Parish Priest
7. All foreign students have to submit two copies of their passport, marks cards duly attested by a
Gazetted Officer and 2 passport size photographs at the time of admission. .
8. FEES ONCE PAID WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
9. If admitted, all foreign nationals should apply for the Eligibility Certificate from Bangalore
University through the College office.

Note:

(a) Originals of the above are to be submitted only at the time of admission. College will retain
all the documents till all the admission formalities are completed.

(b) Admission without the submission of original certificates will only be provisional.

(c) Students can check the website and alerts in the registration portal for interview dates
COURSE ELIGIBILITY:

M.C.A. – Should have studied Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Mathematics / Statistics /
Computer Applications / Computer Programming or Electronics as a subject at PUC or equivalent
level (XII Std) or at the undergraduate Degree level with a minimum of 50%. Should have cleared the
Common Entrance Test Conducted by IIT / VTU / K.MAT.
M.Com - General – B.Com / BBM / BBA Graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Com - IB - Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% in aggregate.

M.Com -Finance and Accounting - B.Com / BBM / BBA Graduate with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate.

M.A. Economics - Graduate with Economics as one of the major subjects at UG level.

M.A. Public Policy - Graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

M.A. English - Graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc. Biotechnology - Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Degree Course with Chemistry as one
of the subjects, along with either Botany or Zoology as one of the other subjects and have secured an
aggregate of not less than 50% in the Optional subjects.

M.Sc. Electronics – Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Degree Course and secured an aggregate
of 50% minimum either with the principle subject or with a subsidiary / interdisciplinary / applied /
allied subjects.

M.Sc. Nano Science & Technology (UGC) – Candidates who have completed B.Sc Degree Course
with any combination and have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in optional subjects and studied
Mathematics as a subject at PUC or Equivalent Level (XII Std).

M.Sc. Mathematics - Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Degree Course with Mathematics as one
of the optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in the subjects of Mathematics and a minimum
of 50% in the aggregate
M.Sc. Life Science - Candidates who have completed B.Sc. Degree Course with Chemistry or
Biochemistry as one of the subjects along with Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics,
Environmental Science, Botany or Zoology as the other subjects and have secured an aggregate of not
less than 50% in the Optional subjects. [Criteria for selection will be different for single major
candidates]

M.Sc. Botany – Candidates who have passed B.Sc. Degree Course with Botany as one of the optional
Subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in the subjects of Botany and a minimum of 50% in
aggregate.

M.Sc. Human Development: Graduate from a recognized University and have secured a
minimum of 50% marks In Aggregate.

M.Sc. Food & Nutrition – Candidates who have completed the three year B.Sc. course with Home
Science or Nutrition & Dietetics, with an aggregate of 50% minimum in optional subjects.

M.Sc. Bio – Chemistry - Candidates who have completed the three year B.Sc. course with Chemistry
or Bio – Chemistry as a subject at UG level with an aggregate of 50% minimum in optional subjects.

M.Sc. Psychology - Graduate with minimum 65% marks in aggregate

M.Sc. Hospitality and Tourism (Twin Program with Binary University Malaysia) - Graduate with
minimum 70% marks in aggregate

I Yr. PGDBA - Graduate in any discipline.
