Dear Students,

The Institute has a large base of highly talented Students, knowledgeable Faculty and resourceful Alumni. The Institute
already has a diverse set of specialisations and facilities and a remote idyllic setting facilitating dedicated attention.

In line with this the MN Faruqui Innovation Center plays a very important role in empowering students to undertake
various research projects. The center is equipped with a host of fabrication facilities and personnel.

• We call for research proposals from student groups of size no more than 3.
• The proposal must be hardware oriented rather than software oriented
• The duration of an undertaken research work may be minimum 1 semester and maximum 2 semesters.
• Extension/Termination of the project will be subjected to expert review.
• There will be monthly meetings to assess the progress of the projects.
• A proposal as per the template described below must be emailed to faruqui.inovations@gmail.com . Please
adhere to the template; proposals with deviation from the template will not be taken into consideration.
• Deadline for receiving the proposals is 21th August 2019.
• A complete report must be submitted at the end of the project term.
• The proposals must belong to one of the theme areas mentioned below. Proposals from other areas may also be
considered depending on the nature of proposed work.
