1. Department of Veterinary Anatomy:


The Department of Veterinary Anatomy was established in the year 2018 as per
Veterinary Council of India regulations. The department offers 4+3 (Theory + Practical)
credit hours. The department has started Undergraduate course as per MSVE-2016
regulations. The department is fully equipped with modern instruments like Pentahead
Microscope, Automatic Rotary Microtome, Microscope Image Projection System etc.,
and anatomical specimens of various livestock species to impact quality education to the
students and hands on practicals.

2. Department of Veterinary Physiology& Biochemistry:


The Department of Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry has started functioning
from 2018 as per veterinary Council of India regulations. Excellent infrastructure
facilities were created in the department as per Minimum Standards of Veterinary
Education (MSVE)-2016 guidelines.
The department has excellent laboratories for Physiology and Biochemistry which
is fully equipped with modern instruments. The department has state of art Diagnostic
laboratory facilities for Haematological & Biochemical examinations.Sophisticated
equipments like Physio-graph for monitoring vital parameters, software for Nerve-Muscle
physiology experiments and teaching software for veterinary physiology are available for
hands on practicals to students.

The department of Livestock ProductionManagement was established in the year
2018. At present, Undergraduate teaching (B.V.Sc & A.H) is the main priority of the
department. The department offers 4+2(Theory + Practical) course in the first year
B.V.Sc& A.H. This department is well equipped with latest equipments, for teaching
U.G. courses of Livestock Production Management as per the MSVE -2016 regulations.
Basic infrastructural facilities like U.G. Lab-cum-Museum for breed charts and animal
house models supported by Livestock Farm Complex are available.

distillation system, Muffle furnace and Soxhlet apparatus as per MVSE-2016 regulations.

The Department of Veterinary Microbiology was established in the year 2018. At
present, Undergraduate teaching (B.V.Sc & A.H) is the main priority of the department.
The department offers 3+2 (Theory + Practical) course in the second year B.V.Sc & A.H
programme. The department is well equipped with latest equipments like Inverted
Microscopes, Binocular Microscopes,Laminar Air Flow Cabinets, High Speed Centrifuge
etc., for teaching U.G. courses and for imparting practical training of Veterinary
Microbiology to Second Year B.V.Sc & A.H studentsas per the MSVE-2016 regulations.

8. Livestock Farm Complex:


Livestock Farm Complex spreaded in an area of 120 Acres and with different
animal sheds for Cattle, Buffaloes and sheep etc., livestock species. Forage crops like
APBN-1, Co-4, Para grass etc., are being maintained. Facilities for fodder conservation
like silage and Wallowing tank, dipping tank are available in livestock Farm Complex.

9. Veterinary Clinical Complex(VCC):


District Veterinary Polyclinic of Animal Husbandry Department was taken over
by the P.V. Narsimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University in 2009 and is functioning as
a Veterinary Clinical Complex w.e.f 01.04.2018 under the control of College of
veterinary Science, Warangal. Veterinary Clinical Complex is located in the centre of
Warangal city. All kinds of cases pertaining to large animals, small animals and pet
animals and birds, etc are treated. During last two years the following cases have been

Sakshi, Deccan Chronicle, The Hindu, Employment Newspaper) are available in the
college library.
Broadband internet facility is available to the students and staff of the college.
Students can access internet and other database in the e-Library which has 3 computer
terminals. Several e-Books are also available in the e-Library.
