Detailed Engineering Design.

For projects not to be awarded as design-build contracts, the Consultant

may be required to carry out detailed engineering design. In case where a detailed engineering design
has been carried out by a third party, the Consultant may be required to carry out due diligence review
of the detailed design and bidding documents. If the due diligence review reveals inadequate or
incomplete detailed design, the Consultant may be required to update/upgrade the detailed design and
documents to meet the highest standards as well as the norms and regulations of the Government and
the financing institution including social and environmental safeguards. This will include but shall not be
limited to the following tasks:
