Project SOS: Save the Snow Leopard

During the summer of my junior year of high school I had the opportunity of
interning with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) at their office in New
Delhi, India. During my time there, I initiated the Save the Snow Leopard (SOS)
Campaign. Project SOS was aimed towards spreading awareness about the
depleting number of Snow Leopards in India along with raising money for the
same cause. I played an instrumental role in creating a short movie for Project
SOS. I interviewed citizens on camera on the streets from various parts of New
Delhi to gather data on the level of awareness about Snow Leopards. I compiled
the video clips to create the film which was featured on my very own page on the
WWF website. We also provided a link to donate money for the cause, which
helped raise a substantial amount.
I further presented the movie in numerous offices, private schools and government
schools, in order to raise awareness amongst all age groups. This helped kick-start
project SOS, which has been taken forward by the amazing WWF team!
