career

I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
A. describe the nature and background of cotillion dance;
B. practice honesty, discipline, and patience in having a chapter quiz
C. accomplish the chapter test on time
II. Subject Matter:
A. Topic: Original Performance with the Use of Media & Cotillion Dance

III. Procedure:

A. Preparation:
 Greetings to the students.  Students greet back.
 Housekeeping. (The teacher will observe  The students will check if there are any

C. Motivation:
 The teacher will lead the class into a
short stretching in preparation of their
chapter test and for the lesson.
D. Lesson proper:
 The teacher will proceed to the chapter o The class will have their chapter quiz for at
quiz, but will share the objectives first least 30 minutes
 The teacher will fix the alignment of the
chairs (One-seat apart) in preparation
for the chapter quiz.
 The teacher will explain the rules in
taking the quiz:
#1 No Glancing (1 Warning only) o The class will rearrange their seats into

collect the papers.

Theater is one major art form that brings
together all other art forms – from painting, and
sculpture, to installation art, to music, to dance,
to literature even computer arts – in single
production.
 We will not have our focus on theater,
but rather we will focus more on dance,
more specifically, cotillion dance.
o The cotillion (also cotillon or "French
Cotillion Dance country dance") is a social dance, popular in
 Class, in your own idea, what is Cotillion 18th-century Europe and America.
Dance?

Cotillion, original name cotillon, late 18th-


century and 19th-century French court dance,
popular also in England.
A precursor of the quadrille, the cotillion was
danced by four couples standing in a square set.

During the 19th century cotillion patterns


became more varied, and the dancing was
combined with the giving of presents.
The word finally came to denote ballroom
dancing for couples that had little relation to the
original form.
 The teacher will incorporate values into
the lesson:
In practicing cotillion dance in the following
meeting, be sure to bring the following:

Teamwork & Cooperation
Discipline
