 Abstract

Same-Sex Relationship is a relationship between persons of the same sex and can take many forms, from

romantic, sexual and other known forms. The term same-sex relationship is not strictly limited to the sexual

orientation of the persons involved. As people of any orientation may participate in same-sex relationships. The

term is purposely associated with gay and lesbian relationships

Same-Sex Relationship, is considered a perceiving issue and topic that withstand the test of time and the

judgments of the opposing culture that revolves around it. It has evolved throughout our whole history, dating

back from the earliest times of the pioneering Greek Philosophy Era to the war-oriented Roman Empire Era and

even the influential Renaissance Era. These are the only known and recognized ages and eras that has presented

and influenced Same-Sex Relationship, for we can hypothesize and be certain that it has started earlier than we

expected and not only based on our history books. Philosophers, poets, emperors, kings, inventors, artists,

dictator, and many more you name it, even from unexpected historical figures and pioneers this goes to show

that Same-Sex Relationship is nearly inevitable and its influence is undeniably contagious to anyone.

In today’s generation, it seems to be normal or most likely to see two persons who are in love with each other

yet they are not the opposing sex. Being homosexual is no more abnormal than being left-handed. Although

nowadays there are still close and narrow minded people who misconceptualized the mere idea or the

unexplainable reason of having a relationship with the same sex or sexual orientation. With the help of the

overwhelming compassion of the internet and LGBTQ+ community, people who are straight as an arrow have

instilled the comprehension and respect to the freedom of choice of everybody to choose who they want to love

excluding the stereotyping and expectations of the society around them. Love has no boundaries whatsoever, no

one can tell us who to love except ourselves, Love was and never will be a choice, it is the most precious and

greatest gift that God has showered unto us, his children. The world could use more love. Why deny it to

others?
 Statement Of the Problem (SOP)

This research primarily focuses on the contemporary condition and viewpoint on the relationship between the

same sexual orientation in today’s generation. Throughout the entirety of the study, numerous

questions/problems are ought to be answered and satisfied by the end of the research. Listed below are the

following questions/problems

1. With Same-Sex Relationship existing a long time ago and evolving throughout time and history, why is

it that there are still discrimination and inequality occurring around our society and culture?

2. What are the enduring factors that Same-Sex Relationship participants have to go through for them to be

able to withstand and fight through the toxicity, judgment, and criticism of the people surrounding

them?

3. Why does the following aspects serve as significant influences that starts the urge for straight people to

become homosexual and ultimately, resulting to a same sex relationship to develop;

 Friends; that are homosexual, bisexual or even asexual that expresses signs of homosexuality, either

transmitting through words or actions

 Environment; nowadays, being gay or having a different sexual orientation seems to be normal and

evident from everywhere that we go. It is undeniably that the body count of homosexuals increases at a

contagious rate.

 Internet; whilst living in the digital revolution, the internet serves a huge role in the influences that most

netizens obtain from. Most commonly, children and teenagers are curious and easily influenced to

whatever they witnessed and heard from the internet.
