5.2. PAGE 2 INPUT

NPUT STAGES DEFINITION, ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS
67 INPUT 67 CAR FULL LOAD NO / NC - comfort drive (0 - 1)
Note – comfort drive
Input 67 is connected to the weighting device and is normally used in buildings with high passenger
flow (commercial buildings, hotels).
When this input is not used and there is low passenger flow, parameter 67 can be set to “1”. Elevator
with this setting does not stop on floor call if one of car calls is active.
Passengers are traveling alone and so the residential comfort in residential buildings with small
number of floors and apartments is increased.

5.4. PAGE 5 ERROR TABLE

22 Error while re-leveling
- elevator has re-leveled
leveled more
mor than 10 times in a period of 2 minutes
- error on switches or magnets
- error on elements for drive (contractor, relays, valves)
- frequent re-leveling
leveling caused by error on hydraulic system

7.1. TERMINALS ON CONTROL PANEL

121 output car overload (always on) / landing
anding doors are not closed (blinking with 0.5Hz)

8. COUNTING SENSORS CONNECTION AND POSITION

NOTE
Slow speed switch must be reached in end stations before pre-limitlimit switch. This is especially important
to assure correct operation in case of two station installations.

11.1. TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Important notice:
Not smoothed 24 V DC is used for signalization on D-type
D type controller. This voltage is suitable for power
supply of SEC indicators as well. Indicators and similar devices
evices from other manufacturers usually need
more stabilized voltage and so an additional
a interface,
rface, shown on the drawing bellow, shall be used.

11.5. OPERATION IN DUPLEX MODE

Lift starts after a certain time, if one or more calls were not served by other lift. This time is called
group time and depends on settings and on number of active landinglandi calls.
Group time is calculated as follows:
Travel time fast speed (P17) = 0 : Group time = 60s / (number of active landing calls + 1)
Travel time fast speed (P17) > 0 : Group time = 5 x P17 / (number of active landing calls + 1)

LANDING CALLS CONNECTION ION – SYSTEM TYPE (P31) 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9

Output calls can be connected parallel to both control panels or only to one control panel.
If output calls are connected only to one control panel of duplex system this will work because panels
communicate through
rough serial cable and they exchange all information about landing calls.
Landing calls are normally connected to both control panels, so that at least one elevator works when
other one is switched off. Two requirements must be met in this case:
- 24V DC (terminals
rminals 78 and 80) of both lift controllers must be connected together.
- Both control cabinets must be connected to the power supply (L1, L2 and L3) in the same
way.

48 DOOR TYPE 1-8
3 - folding ( bus ) / semi-automatic
Switches of landing doors are connected in series between inputs 303 and 304. Car door contact is
connected between inputs 304 and 305. Door locks are connected in series between inputs 305 and
306.
Outputs RE7 and RE8 drive opening and closing of car door.
Car door will remain open when the lift is waiting at floors.
If landing doors are open for more than 10s, landing call is served by other elevator.

30 Start on pre-limit switch out of station

Elevator stopped and started again on pre-limit switch out of station.
This can happen due to safety line break (inputs safety line 36-39) or some other reason.
Lift goes to first drive after this error.

31 Re-leveling out of limits

Elevator moved out of allowed area during re-leveling. Both »Stop in station / Zone« switches MUST
be present during re-leveling.
- Check the position of switches »Stop in station / Zone« and »Re-leveling« - is it according to
the manual?
- Check the type of hydraulic (valve delay, pump delay) and parameter P30.

5.1. PAGE 1 PARAMETERS

19 LIMITED STARTS OR DAYS 0 - 99
It is possible to limit number of starts or days of lift operation with this parameter. The type of
limitation depends on parameter P96:
P96 = 0 -> P19 means limited starts x 10,000
P96 = 1 -> P19 means limited days of operation

D-type manual addendum document ver. 1.7, April 2011 page 4 of 13

Parameter value explanation is next:
0 – limit is disabled
1 – previous limit was elapsed, functionality of the lift is reduced
2-99 – adjusted limit number in 10,000 x starts of the lift or days

Example 1:
P19=2, P96=0 – lift will make 10,000 normal starts, after that its operation will be reduced.

Example 2:
P19=31, P96=1 – lift will work 30 days normal, after that its operation will be reduced.

5.2. PAGE 2 INPUT STAGES DEFINITION, ADDITIONAL PARAMETERS

83 Travel time maintenance and first drive limit time setting:
0 - Travel time maintenance is switched off, time of first drive is not limited.
1 - Travel time maintenance is 5 x Travel time fast speed (P17), time of first drive is limited to
20 x Travel time fast speed (P17).
95 Parameter write protection.
When this parameter is changed from 0 to 1, the combination of input terminals from 81 to 95 is
read. After that, any parameter change or other write operation to the controller is possible only,
if the same input combination is set.
Controller is unconditionally locked for writing 10 minutes after each write attempt with wrong
input combination.
Write protection can be disabled with setting P95 to zero. A different input combination can be set
after this.
Example:
- P95=0, car calls station 5 and 6 (terminals 85 and 86) are bridged to 0V (LEDs are ON), other
calls are off, maintenance is ON.
- Set P95 to 1, press WRITE and PAGE UP on the programmer.
- Now, only READ operation is possible without active car station 5 and 6 call inputs.

96 Type of limited operation

0 - P19 means limited starts x 10,000
1 - P19 means limited days of operation

03 HOLD DOOR TIME 1 - 90 sec.
Timer is active when we use door type 5 or 8 (parameter 48). In this case after the timed period the
outputs for doors will cancel as long as the lift stays at the floor.
If timer is set on value 1 or 11 then antivandal is not in function.

14 PUMP OR VALVES OR VVVF DELAY TIME 0.0 - 9.9 sec.

Timer defines the delay of outputs for the pump or valves after the end of travel in up direction on
hydraulic lifts. Selection between pump or valves is made with parameter 30 (settings 2 or 4).
Timer defines also the delay of VVVF enable inputs after contactors are switched on. This delay is
typically 0.2s.

47 CORRECTION AT SLIP 0-1

0 - If the lift drops the input for the stop signal after it has stopped at a floor before the time of
stabilization (parameter 16), it is reversed back to floor in maintenance speed.
1 - If the lift drops the input for the stop signal after it has stopped at a floor before the time of
stabilization (parameter 16), it is reversed back to floor in slow speed.

5.2. PAGE 2 INPUT STAGES DEFINITION, OTHER PARAMETERS

85 Limited number of re-leveling
0 – Normal operation, re-leveling number is limited to 10 per 2 minutes.
1 – Re-leveling number is not limited.
CAUTION: Hydraulic oil overheating or some other equipment failure is possible with
setting ‘1’.

86 Arrival gong on serial line activation

0 – Normal operation, gong on voice announcer VM-LCD doesn’t work.
1 – Gong on voice announcer VM-LCD, connected to serial line, works.
NOTE: Displays PK96 up to version 1.6 are not compatible with setting 1.

42 UPS drive
Lift is switched to Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) after power failure. This function is possible
only when P30 is set to 1 and P32 is set to 4 or 5 and works as follows:
- UPS drive is activated with terminal 66 Slow speed down / UPS. When this terminal is switched on
during travel, all outputs are disabled for 5 seconds.
- After 5 seconds, lift is started normally and travels to the next station in up or down direction.
When station is reached, doors are operating normally, but calls are not accepted. Both direction
outputs are on during UPS drive!
- UPS drive is controlled by P19 Travel time – test speed timer.
- If UPS drive is activated when lift is in station, doors are operating normally, but calls are not
accepted and lift remains in station.
- When mains supply is back again (Slow speed down / UPS input is switched off) lift goes to the
first drive.
- Maintenance drive in UPS mode works only when both keys (up and down) are pressed. Car
moves always in ‘easy’ direction – empty car up, fully loaded car down.

42 UPS drive
Lift is switched to Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) after power failure. This function has two
options, VVVF (P30=1) and hydraulic type E (P30=2, P90=1).

VVVF:
- Function is possible only when P30 = 1 and P32 = 4 or 5.
- UPS drive is activated with terminal 66 (Slow speed down / UPS) on D-type module. When this
terminal is switched on during travel, all outputs are disabled for 5 seconds.
- After 5 seconds, lift is started normally and travels to the next station in up or down direction.
When station is reached, doors are operating normal, but calls are not accepted. Both direction
outputs (RE1 and RE2) are on during UPS drive!
- UPS drive is controlled by P19 Travel time – test speed timer.
- If UPS drive is activated when lift is in station, doors are operating normally, but calls are not
accepted and lift remains in station.
- When mains supply is back again (Slow speed down / UPS input is switched off) lift continues with
normal operation. If the lift was travelling during UPS mode, it goes to the first drive and then
continues with normal operation.
- Maintenance drive in UPS mode works only when both keys (up and down) are pressed. Car
moves always in ‘easy’ direction – empty car up, fully loaded car down.

D-type manual addendum document ver. 1.7, April 2011 page 12 of 13

Hydraulics type E:
- Function is active when P30 = 2 and P90 = 1.
- UPS drive is activated with terminal 66 (Slow speed down / UPS) on D-type module. When this
terminal is switched on during travel, all outputs are disabled for 5 seconds; lift is stopped at this
time.
- After 5 seconds, lift starts normally and travels to the next lower station. When station is reached,
doors are operating normally, but calls are not accepted.
If it was travelling during UPS mode, lift goes to the first drive and then
continues with normal operation.
- Maintenance drive in UPS mode works only when both keys (up and down) are pressed. Car
moves always in down direction.
