I. INTRODUCTION

Activity 1. Review
Gamitin ang flashcard ng multiplication table mula 1, 2, 3,4 at 5.
Activity 2: Motivation
Magpakita ng supot na may iba’t ibang kendi.
Kung may baon ba kayong kendi tulad nito, bibigyan nyo ba ang inyong kamag-aral?
Bakit? Ano pa ang maari mong ibahagi sa iyong kamag-aral, kaibigan o kapatid?

II. MODELLING

Activity 1: Presentation

Si Andrea ay bumili ng 8 supot ng kendi. Kung may 6 na pirasong kendi

sa bawat supot, ilan lahat ang kending binili niya?

A. Concrete
Muling ipakita ang 8 supot na may lamang 6 na piraso ng kendi.
Ilang supot ng kendi ang narito?
Ilang piraso ng kendi ang laman ng bawat supot?
Ilan lahat ang kendi?

C. Abstract
Sabihin: Mayroon 8 supot. Bawat supot ay may lamang 6 na piraso ng kendi .
Mayroong 48 piraso ng kendi lahat.
Isulat sa pisara ang sumusunod:
Repeated addition sentence: 6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6 = 48
Multiplication sentence: 8 x 6 = 48 piraso ng kendi
Kung 9 ang supot ng kendi na may tig 6 na kendi. Ilan lahat ang mga kendi?

Repeated addition sentence: 6+6+6+6+6+6+6+6 +6 = 54


Multiplication sentence: 9 x 6 = 54 piraso ng kendi

D. Generalization:
Ano ang multiplication? Paano kukunin ang product o sagot sa
Sa multiplication? Ano ang multiplicand? Ano ang multiplier?
1.Ang multiplication ay repeated addition.

2. Upang makuha ang product, i-multiply ang multiplicand sa multiplier.

3. Ang multiplier ay ang bilang ng grupo at ang multiplicand ay ang bilang ng piraso o
laman sa bawat grupo.
