KSB MIL has state-of-the-art Design, Manufacturing and testing facilities for Standard and
Severe Service Control valves for 660 MW & above, Supercritical Power plants.

As a part of KSB MIL’s ongoing capacity expansion, a new plant building suitable for
handling control valves up to 16 tonnes has been commissioned in May 2013 to meet the
upcoming demands of super critical power plants.
Manufacturing Facilities

KSB MIL infrastructure is fully geared to meet the challenges of the global process industry,
which is practically the need of the hour.
The large size valve manufacturing plant caters to the requirement of large size control valves
typically used for supercritical power plants and large petrochemical and refinery units. The
plant is equipped with sophisticated assembly and testing equipments in 2 bays, EOT cranes,
high precision CNC machines including Machining centre with turning & facing head,
Assembly and testing bay which includes high pressure test bench, high pressure gas testing
facility, state-of-the-art Metrology lab, etc.,

minds with the added assistance of computational and mechanical tools, it culminates in the
production of some of the best future-ready products.
KSB MIL is one of the technology leaders in the manufacturing of control valves in India
focused on developing optimum solutions using state-of-the-art R&D Centre.

The R&D Centre of KSB MIL is the first in house R&D Centre of control valves in India,
which is approved by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of
India. KSB MIL’s innovative R&D / Engg. facilities are at par with the best in industry and is
facilitated with:
Stress and seismic analysis of principle components based on Finite Element Analysis.
Special designs to take care of critical services like cavitation and flashing.
Heat transfer calculations for cryogenic applications.
Development efforts aimed at upgrading, value engineering and standardization.

Our inspection, testing and quality surveillance procedures all conform to international
standards. Our sub-vendors regularly undergo an evaluation process and their qualifications
are cross checked to meet the company standards.
